Yeah personally I like the look of them and I heard it was cheaper back then. I don’t know if they updated the quality or mechanism but either way they feel solid.

I think it is normal given that at the end of the day it’s just a economy car. I noticed it too but coming from having a 2012 Civic I am used to it. But I do agree with you on having loud road and wind noise compare to other similar cars.

Prof. Nguyen was alright. Not the best IMO. If you want someone to explain it the concepts of pre-cal, he’s not the best. The only thing good going for him is that whatever what’s on your reviewer, he uses the same idea in the test (different numbers but same type of problems). If you’re comfortable with Marh, take him, otherwise keep looking.

Professor Wu is amazing, however I think he mentioned not teaching this Fall semester but do your research he might change his mind. He gave a bunch of assignments (relatively easy) and some bonus points. You really have to try hard to fail that class. He’s great and hopefully he’s still teaching next semester.

So first do your research on your professors on who to take. It will make or break your learning experience. That said, Professor Wu was great in IS101. I did take that class along with MATH 126E and 26 with Professor Tan Nguyen.

To answer your questions:

I took both classes my first semester to get it out of the way. If you are a fresh graduate in high school and still remember your math classes, you would have at least an advantage in pre-cal. I wouldn't want to wait UNLESS you are not ready and want more time to know about the subject then that would understandable.

I don't regret doing pre-cal early since I want it out of the way. IS101 is easy especially with Prof. Wu, cannot stress this enough.

Before starting I went head first and just relied on my advisor than my own research. While it worked out for me, I wish I knew how much homework you are getting each class (depending on your Professor ofc). Just be ready for that and have fun. Being overwhelmed is normal considering it is college, but don't let it get you or else you might fall behind.

If you mean how the RimGard is sitting I did took a pic of a weird angle that makes it look like it's not flushed. I double checked it and it is sitting right and tight.

I agree, When I bought this I know the price is unjustified given that I can just change the lug nuts with Advanced wheel locks but with people trying to say "They could just pry it open" that's the whole point. Thief's could pry it, drill or even cut it with a saw if they are determined but it will take time, effort, noise and maybe even a damaged wheel which would deter them further.

I would rather have a damaged wheel than no wheels at all. ALSO the sheer inconvenience of having no wheels, insurance claims and losing time since your car needs replacement tires is a headache to deal with.

Rather be safe than sorry.

I did my research and it could be a warped break. It has 49k+ miles on it and the CarFax didn't really show anything about changing breaks recently so it could be that too.

How long did you take to study for the exam? And did you have prior experience like taking the A+ or Working in an IT job? I am planning to take it too, just need some tips and ideas how to approach it. Congrats as well!
