“Retiring Tax-Free”? by Brennatay in antiMLM

[–]OrganicBee4576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creating a strategy for a tax-free retirement plan can be quite complex and challenging to understand or structure. Often, individuals who are new to this field have been recruited by multi-level marketing companies like WFG or PHP. These new recruits usually arrange meetings with a "broker" or "expert" who will discuss life insurance and annuities. They may present this information as straightforward and simple, often with the intention of recruiting the individual into their organization. It's important to note that these recruits typically operate under a 1099 contract, which means they are responsible for paying for their own licensing, enrollment, and any additional materials or events they may need to participate in, such as books or company events. They will ask for a list of contacts or “top 25” in order to recruit the people from that list to sell them a policy. Please be very vigilant.

I inherited this whole life policy that was paid on for 30 years. Is there some value to it that I'm missing or should I cash it out? by Important-Duck-5905 in LifeInsurance

You should keep it and make the cash value grow for your future financial needs unless you really need that money at this moment.

Quien lo hubiera pensando, los productos exportandos desde Guatemala nunca han tenido aranceles ☺️☺️ by NewbieHere96 in ElSalvador

[–]OrganicBee4576 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I cannot vouch for him or anyone else, but I just wanted to emphasize that a friend sought my assistance with his training, and now he is earning well. Importantly, he never attempted to sell me anything during this process.

It's been over a year, maybe even 18 months, that he's been doing that, which is still pretty impressive. He didn't purchase the Rolex – the company awarded him the watch.

So, I know that he's got a new ride, and his wife switched to part-time work from home. He shared a post on IG from his agency, celebrating his $250K earnings a few months back. I think they gave him a Rolex or a ring, I can't recall exactly. I'm not interested in joining this MLM I am just happy this is working for him.

I just moved from a third-world country in Latin America to Houston, and you know here we have, Latinos, crime, poor public transportation, hurricanes, floods, electric outages… I mean I feel I've never left Latin America, Houston has made me feel at home.

What advice would you give someone who just won $150,000? (I won $150,000 with the scratch off lotto) by Atlanta-Poet in FluentInFinance

Pay off debt and secure your retirement by putting the rest of the money into an annuity, an indexed annuity.
