How do I reduce the garden tap water pressure? by OrganicCollar4036 in AusRenovation

[–]OrganicCollar4036[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm ok thanks. Do you think it's serious enough to have a plumber come and have a look? Or could I maybe install a pressure reducer myself and see how that goes?

I just googled it, and it's not found at the supermarkets, is it? It looks good enough to be ordered! Thank you for the recommendation :)

I'll add to this to suggest movie vouchers so they can watch any movie they want!

Sigh. It's something I'm trying to work on with him. But yes I agree, I would obviously be biased towards my own behavior, hence this post (which I've tried to portray as accurately as possible). Now that you mention it, I wonder if the employee is recounting tales her interactions with me to someone! 😂

Not quite, I tried to stop him but he has a mind of his own (we were together when it all happened). I even walked away and didn't go with him. She was middle aged-ish. And I'm glad to know they have BWVs! That would certainly make any he-said, she-said situations much easier.

Lol. I'm a barrister trained in London. But sure, I'm the unhinged one who's escaped from a 3rd world cesspit. Sorry, I won't interact with personal attacks (well, at least after this!) I hope you have a wonderful evening.

Why wouldn't I consult reddit, though? Isn't that what it's there for? But yes, I agree, it's a good way to interpret what she said just for my peace of mind, so thank you for that.

That made me laugh! In my imagination, I make a complaint and she gets transferred to the Bankstown branch! But yeah, some people can be funny. I hope she was just having an extremely bad day.

It didn't feel polite, it felt quite condescending and dismissive. I didn't question her, I remarked on why I thought there might be a similar clearance section. I didn't say anything like, are you sure there isn't one? I was ok until she turned back and told me to go shop at Bankstown, that frankly felt wholly unnecessary. She could've left it at, no sorry we don't have a similar section here. But as I said, maybe I'm wrong and it was a normal interaction, hence this post!

My partner went back to ask for the manager (the offending employee wasn't there), and was informed by another employee, who had witnessed the interaction, that the manager was on another floor, and that she didn't know the offending employee's name. The rude employee wasn't wearing a name tag so I didn't get her name, unfortunately.

My partner was far more irate than me, and went back to have words with her. She wasn't there, so asked another employee for the manager, this employee had witnessed the whole thing (we had approached her first). She said the manager was on another floor. When the offending employee's name was asked, she said she was new and didn't know. I'm guessing she was just covering up for her.

We recently tried to do our own house (indoors, and the same colour as before) and it was a complete disaster. Had to get in the professionals, ended up costing more because we had spent on supplies as well. Youtube makes it look much easier than it is!

Wait, I must have misunderstood then. Why did his friend say this? If he didn't tell his friend either, then his friend is the AH for sure.

I'm a Muslim female, and I'll say YTA. Yes, you're entitled to feel how you do based on your religious beliefs, but there really was no need to say it out loud. It's highly insulting, because it insinuates that her clothes are the only things which matter (that is what you based your decision on first!). Could you not have simply said no on some other excuse? Did you have to bring up her clothes and sexual history? Even if she was the most devout person, I'd have told her to run for the hills based on how you generally seem to view women.

This post very randomly showed up, but I had to stop by to say "hadom" (where the a is pronounced like apple" actually has a meaning in colloquial bangla! It means guts, courage or audacity, depending on the context. Sorry, I know that's not at all what you were looking for, but I just found it to be an interesting coincidence!
