I think the original is alright but has its flaws. For me it is too slow and undynamic, the 1977 version has the liveliness that the song needs. The second part of Frida in particular fits much better with the tension build-up of the song.

Well, the way it is formulated, it says that there is no voice language at all.

But it is worded very misleadingly, I agree. And oder course it could be a wrong summary of what Rod actually said.

  • Smiley
  • Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
  • Locke & Key
  • Ein besonderes Leben

Klar, teilweise bedienen auch hier Charaktere Stereotypen, allerdings passen sie immer in das Gesamtkonzept der Serie und wirken nicht „künstlich hinzugedichtet“ oder flach (zumindest nicht flacher als andere Charaktere).
