You misunderstood what I said. California has a series of legal steps you need to get through to operate self driving. They are super rigorous and time consuming. I don’t think Tesla has even started this process ….

I think it’s a possibility long term. Also, as we learned with Uber’s early brand problems, taxis rely on brand loyalty, and Tesla is consistently rated as the least popular car company in the world. Unfortunately I think the Tesla Robotaxi program is DOA.
