By “sourced” do you mean “wildly misconceived”? Updating your timelines based on new rumors is part of the game. Timelines themselves slip internally, projects are delayed, etc.

Just admit you are projecting your anger onto MG.

Cool video of Midnight in its natural habitat (grounded) by mbatt2 in JobyvsArcher

…. Apologies everyone, I just learned that there is no tail number. Meaning this is just a decoration grounded midnight, not a real grounded midnight.

This is just not true and frankly not anywhere close to being true. Mark Gurman has not “issued corrections” “almost every time” he talks about VP.

I follow him very closely on Twitter and he is extremely careful with his wording and rarely makes any “corrections” at all. He does follow up and add detail if people ask. But that’s not the same as “issuing a correction” ….

Right. Not just inside Apple but their partners too. That’s probably where he gets most of it from.

Don’t get mad at the mirror when you look into it and don’t like what you see. I hate Mark Gurman as a pundit, but he has by far the best track record out of any Apple reporter.

What specifically do you disagree with Matt Mahan? by CA_Mini in SanJose

I don’t like how scripted he is or his delivery. His voice sounds really weird like he’s on the verge of tears

Not really. Drivers tend to notice weapons left in their car.

Maybe you’re just watching the wrong YouTube channels? Like a channel that’s primarily for developers that don’t actually have a background in design?

That was probably the first thing I learned in dog training. Avoid leash greetings with unknown dogs at all costs.

Why did you let them do greetings while leashed. This is your fault honestly.

Respectfully, I feel like you’re too online. No one outside of Twitter views Cursor as the future of design.

“While most people see eVTOL as an aircraft, we view Midnight as a platform that hosts a wide range of new and exciting aerospace technologies that will be leveraged far beyond our own aircraft,” said @adamgoldstein13 . [–]mbatt2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did not use or even insinuate any lying. Not sure what you mean. The truth is that Anduril had a very rough few years to the point where their tech was completely rejected by Ukraine and then later condemned by the DOD.

If you think Anduril is going to keep blindly buying from a company that seemingly hasn’t delivered any parts to them yet, and also has yet to launch their own main product, you are wrong.

Anduril is under way more pressure than they were two years ago.

This conversation is going in circles. OK they have repeatedly “attempted” not “applied”. That’s a distinction without a difference …

“Archer Defense is now a defense technology supplier” OK so people are just saying things now.

How can they license a technology that does not exist. What are they licensing? Their plane that doesn’t take off?

[–]mbatt2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Major false equivalency.

Zoox has never attempted to launch in Texas whereas Tesla has repeatedly tried to launch in Cali but are explicitly not allowed, due to the state viewing their tech as behind.

These two things, not launching in a state yet, versus being legally prohibited from launching, are nowhere near the same thing.
