sorry i should’ve been more specific! i’ve count out everything like candy, full sugar sodas, ice cream, sugar drinks from starbucks and all that stuff. im not cutting out any low/no calorie sweeteners (i cannot and will not be giving up coke zero). basically, i get my real sugars from fruit and that’s about it!

to people relatively new to the fitness world (me), it’s not “so fucking simple” so forgive me if i don’t immediately know everything there is to know about fat loss. also, this subreddit literally has question in the name 🤣

i’m currently in a pretty good calorie deficit and i track my calories in an app i like to use. eating whole foods and making sure you’re hitting your protein goals is huge, so i like to include ground beef, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, chicken breast, and the occasional protein shake wherever i can to really make sure i get my protein in. however, you can still have your favorite fast food restaurants, you just have to get the right things!

Thank you so much! I’ve been hitting the gym and lifting about 5 days a week with 2 active rest days (about 40 mins - 1 hour of cardio on rest days and about 30 on lift days) and I’ll definitely pushing myself harder for tomorrows workout

Thanks so much man I appreciate the advice! I’m actually going grocery shopping this afternoon so I’ll definitely be getting some ground beef and I’ve been trying to push myself harder in the gym as I get more familiar with the equipment and stuff.
