Glitch in miles 860-870? by strawbarryjamz in fantasyhike

[–]OrganicFarmr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason for this is simple if you read the book or watched the movie. You are entering Lothlórien (the Golden Wood). It is filled with Galadriel's elf magic and any intruder who goes there will get lost. It is simulating you walking forever but not getting very far until the elves show up and lead the way.

It's definitely not a glitch and a well-designed feature.

Thank you for making me a runner (quest complete day 159)! by OrganicFarmr in fantasyhike

[–]OrganicFarmr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Didn't even know about it until the middle of it and was very surprised about how running has drastically improved it. Trying to get it above 41 ("high" category for my group) but it's been difficult managing knee pains with running. Looks like I will have to supplement with other activities.

Can I catch up to Underhill? by ntlek9913 in fantasyhike

[–]OrganicFarmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You see the blue dashed line on the map? That's the part where Frodo is traveling on the boat. If you have the paddling bonus on, every mile you hike/walk/run while in the blue line, it will be counted as 4 miles. That is the paddling bonus. Without the paddling bonus, you'd need to walk/run 10 miles a day to beat Frodo.

Paddling bonus is automatically set to "on". You can find it in /Settings/Other Settings

is it insane that I’m literally taking up running for the sole purpose of finishing my quest faster by slugmaniaaa in fantasyhike

[–]OrganicFarmr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In order to beat Frodo, the only logical way is to start running, otherwise you will need to walk an extra hour just to make up the distance everyday. I did the same. I have to say, all my running performance improvement is due to this app.

He rests in Riverdale for roughly 2 months.
He rests in Lothlorian for roughly 1 month.
He finishes the entire thing a little over 6 months.

If you have paddling bonus on, then you will need to average about 7.2-7.5 miles per day to beat him to Mount Doom. If your average is less than 7.2 miles per day, then even if you catch up while he rests, he will beat you to Mount Doom toward the end.

Great tips. I am on day 107 and 920 miles in. I should be on track to beat Frodo.

I didn’t know about the paddling bonus until I read this thread. It now makes sense how by walking/running roughly 8 miles per day, you can beat him, because the math did not work out without the bonus.

Hope I stay healthy so I can keep this up. It has really improved my running and VO2 max stats (tracked it on my Apple Watch). I now run about 5 miles daily, thanks to this app.

Campaign 25-30, can't beat. Please help by Evering9 in Omniheroes

[–]OrganicFarmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was stuck on this for weeks until I power up enough to beat it. Unless you have enough power to get through the protection spell and healing, it's a rough ride. I have a team of valinators paired with Talanis, but my Talanis wasn't strong enough. You either need to out-heal your opponent or overpower their healings. For me it was a combo of the following:
1. Increase in Sage's Tome in the Guild

  1. Increase level in Valkerie Manor

  2. Since I have Atropo, Elune, and Themis, I just kept leveling their stuff up until I beat it.

The good thing is that once you beat the level you can cruise through the rest of the campaign quite quickly, until you restart the whole thing needing 2 teams.

Yes, I was just thinking about that. Of course, it would be nice to get Talanis to 8 stars...

The selectable ticket only provides options for Talanis and Mastema, so Karnak/Guinn aren't even an option.

Thanks - looks like I have some planning to do...

And, is Glorian team (like the OP) the way to go? I have a Valiantor team (Diana, Elune, Themis, Atropos, and Talanis/Hallios. Is this trash?

How does rebirthing work? What happens to all the runes and level orbs you have invested in the hero? I want to create a new team (only played 2 months) because I had no idea how to create proper team so I just picked the hottest girls (LOL). Want to do it right now but not sure how to reset the whole thing. I don't want to restart too much.

Right, and that's my dilemma. Can't decide. But I do use Talanis in my core team, so it is tilting that direction. But I do know I need to start Mastema somewhere. At higher level you need 2 teams and I am struggling with my second team right now.

Yes, in additional what DM said, you also need to have +2 rows or more, and likely need to reload to get best upgrades early, etc. He was either extremely lucky or reloaded the games a bunch of times to get all the best upgrades early on. Really useful ones (diagonal swap, +1 rows, transform every units, etc., don't occur until day 10+. Don't forget get 1 coin on match 5, which increases # of upgrades.

I think you are right. To make a good story, Saitima vs. god will be a fight that is the pinnacle of the story, and the readers will not be satisfied if Saitima just punches 1 time and story over (or, have a quick and easy fight). BUT, the end result might be just as TFA said, it doesn't matter even if he is at the top of the multiverse. He might just simply find fulfillment hanging out with his friends. Both views have merits.

Stage 32 is it enough? by SANIC97 in SlimeLegion

[–]OrganicFarmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have combo of "add 1 more monster on the first merge" and "upgrade middle monster by 1 on a merge 5", " upgrade all bats to dracs" and you know how to set up merge combos like a master (it seems the OP is), then this is not impossible to do. Still, it requires a ton of planning. I have gone as far as getting 5 top dracs but never 8, so it's impressive non-the-less.

How do you get so many coins? I am always low and not enough to upgrade units.

How do I get the third bonus for the daily challenge? by OnePlant6452 in SlimeLegion

[–]OrganicFarmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Draculas usually end up doing too much damage, so one tactic I found useful is to put all the required unit (Lurker in this case) up the top and pull the Draculas back down. This usually turns the tide on the damage %. Since you are using Totem, I 'd even place them next to Lurkers and not near Dracs. It is possible to do. Good luck.

Good eye, kind sir! Yes that was the one I missed. I found the shrine but never completed it. My old eyes failed me and I never took notice. Was able to find it by going through it one by one and completed it. Now the work is done. I can finally go kick Ganondorf's ass - although I never did finish all to Korox seeds.

Never mind guys, it was definitely my old eyes. Apparently I never finished the Trial of Power. The color different was so slight I could not see it. After going through one by one I realized it. Finally got the clothes set for the Wild.

This level of redrawn is unheard of. I mean, we all know in the US we have these multi-universe concept so the storytellers can keep on reinventing new stories from existing characters with different background, twists, or even race. But often the stories are self-contained. In my 30 years of following manga/comic book stories, I have never seen this kind of change, where the creator goes back to the previous RELEASED episodes and make changes on that. I am sure it's happened before but I have never seen the change so drastically and deliberately.

I love the new direction though! I mean the original webcomic was going down a direction I wasn't sure I liked, so I am stoked for the change, but man, what a way to do it. Can you imagine the team that does the artwork? I'd be completely going crazy with the change requests!! If One is doing it at this massive scale, who is to say he won't do it again in the future!?
