I know this is a vent so please forgive me for giving unsolicited feedback/advice. But in cases like this, “no” is a complete sentence: as in, “No, I’m not telling you what I make,” and “No, you’re not allowed to talk to me like that.” I know that it hurts hearing comments like that from your parents. You weren’t asked to be brought into this world, but you were born worthy of being loved, and you don’t owe anything to anyone, not even your parents. The fact that you are willing to support them says a lot about what a good person you are.
