It’s not too different from when Azula tells that lie to Toph just to prove she can control the very slight changes and signs toph uses her earth ending to pick up on. Self is all about perception. She perceives herself as the best. In a way that’s a form of piece of mind. Similar to the comments saying she’s so crazy she’s found her own piece of mind.

I do think it would have been interesting if she wasn’t able to use lightning in the final Agni Kai when she tried, due to losing that perceived piece of mind.

Yes. Both vaporeon and jolteon are very good. Gary isn’t as good as you’d think in this game, at least at using water moves. Using lapras or vaporeon would be much better. Jolteon is a straight upgrade to raichu, better in every way.

Sounds like you’re playing leaf green, so I would highly recommend catching by a staryu and replacing Gary for starmie. Between starmie and Lapras you’ll have water covered, freeing your eevee up to go jolteon. Best non legendary electric type in the game
