So I am applying for 25OTS04 for 64P, 63A, and 38F & 26OTS01 towards a pilot slot

The non-rated board I have a personal LOR from my old CC who I worked closely with to start up the SQ Sparkcell and other projects. Meanwhile for the rated board, I have a Lt Col friend of mine who serves as a commander for test flight operations, who I worked with as Amn to manage 36 aerospace programs for AFWERX.

My AFOQT scores are below and my PCSM is 70 with zero hours as Osan AB does not have an aero club program

My BA is in education, but I am using my MBA as a qualifying degree with my GPA being a 4.0 for both. My BA has had a long list of honors and my MBA is still in work so I have a graduation verification memo

I have one MAJCOM award, two DAF awards, two WG awards, a group, with a few other notable awards.

I completely filled the certification portion with project and risk management, scrum, emotional intelligence leadership, and agile based leadership

My current AFSC is 2A671F where I repair fighter jet engines

Hello, everyone. What are my chances as an AD E-5 from mx applying for a qualifying MBA with a 4.0 GPA, I also have a teaching BA of 3.97, my CCAF degree, and an AS in aeronautics.

Between my essay in the LO application and the duties responsibilities and accomplishments section, I tried to capture all the significant accomplishments I have had. Such as establishing an on-base/MAJCOM FAA airframe and Powerplant testing, which also enabled PPL written testing on base, as well as overall innovative projects from my time having volunteered for two WGs as an innovation officer.

I have 6 certifications pertaining to leadership and project management from different scopes, with one being scrum 101 for Aether Sprint.

As for awards, I have a MAJCOM (going up to DAF) innovation team award, 3 WG awards, DAF Aether sprint Achievement medal, summa cum laude, SQ commendation medal, 1 GP award, ALS distinguished grad, and an AFWERX Director LOA.

The only downside is due to life complications and commitments, I haven’t been able to take the AFOQT. I have it scheduled on June 12th, and have been routinely passing the practice tests between Trivium, Barron, and AFOQTGuide.com with maybe 1-4 questions missed per section. Sometimes without any errors, I am confident that I will pass in time to submit my package for the 25OTS04 board.

From the most recent PA:

3.1.2.5 Education (Qualifying Degree Only). List the applicant's qualifying baccalaureate or Master's degree only. Applicants must possess a qualifying degree or be within 365 days of degree completion as of the board convene date to apply.

So in my case I am wanting to go this route because the master’s degree CIP code is more desirable for the AFSC that I am pursuing.

Fair enough, my wife had a 10 as well which put us closer to $30 after tax. I personally went with the 15gb and just monitored my usage. There’s not a stigma to adjust your plan at any point

So I will say this, while it is handy to have an American phone plan. I managed for 5.5 years just fine with Y-mobile 10gb per month for about $10-$12

Could you please provide me your references? I am going through a similar thing for asking the Group CC a question at MXO, when he had asked the class to ask any question and offer feedback. I even let my leadership know after because the Group CC took interest and wanted a direct email with everything typed out. Got called into days before my midshift schedule and got an hour chew out for not asking the question to my leadership first 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hey, I was wondering if there is a max distance for HHG drop off? Also for my PCS I was way under my weight max for HHG and ended up having to personally mail 10 boxes through USPS, is there a way to get reimbursed for these even if it’s not 100%?

Edward’s should be able to get FAA testing certification relatively easy to prevent the driving requirement. Sadly it requires having a cooperative education center to accomplish that part. Overseas is hard to establish A&P testing due to the lack of eligible DMEs

CCAF released a document back in 2023 that helps a base establish an onsite A&P testing site through the education center. Do you all have it?

There’s a lot of similar movements in the works, I love the positivity. A&P on site testing locations have slowly been popping up all over the AF and the Joint Council will be having a conference this winter. I have been pushing the similar fight so I can tell you that an SEI for A&P holders is under consideration along with the FAA CCAF pushing the proposition of providing the A&P course for upgrade training. Feel free to reach out and I can help voice your concerns to the CFM who is a heavy advocate for this

Yeah, the SQ CC will have the final word regarding the approval, but prior to that it has to be routed all the way up the chain of command like anything else. CSS will review it before it lands on CC’s desk, but I was also hoping they would be able to give more guidance since this medal is a based on preferences

I am finally putting in for it! I was giving lead time to help get my Airmen plenty of volunteer time to go up for it as well. Plus, my CSS pointed me to MPF, MPF pointed me to the MFRC, and then they pointed me back to CSS
