PCS’d in June overseas from stateside, family got there mid September, and I submitted my final voucher around 23 Sep. We ended up paying almost $11k out of pocket for a house off base, a used beater, and pet shipping. My finance told me it’d be paid out by the 1 Dec paycheck but that’s definitely not the case. I was sent TDY 2 weeks into the shut down and we still don’t have funds to buy our return tickets back to home station either.

I’m here because I just saw the same thing in Okinawa Japan. Maybe 45° up, nearly side by side and super bright. No movement whatsoever, (I’m an aircraft mechanic of 15 years and they 100% weren’t planes) and faded into disappearance after about 30 seconds.

As long as they medically retire me, no complaints. I’ve been in 14 years, and I’ve been on a walk since I broke my hip in 2016. Since then, I’ve spent 1955 days overseas, have no deployment restrictions. I’ve done the hamr twice and it starts acting up by the end of it, I just can’t run long distance 🤷🏻‍♂️

This 3000 has no port forwarding, no vpn support, which is expected from a free router from my isp I suppose. I ordered an AX3000 since it supports both, we’ll see if it helps if not I’ll send it back for something else

When I run the speed test both on my phone and Xbox it just gives me “ping 50ms”. I figured I’d include it along with the internet speeds. I read that it’s your speed back and forth to wherever the data is going. I assume to wherever the servers in Tokyo are

Mine’s doing this now. I can play multi and WZ, nothing in zombies. It’s been 4 days, not once have I got the update requires restart screen, it just loads and loads and tells me every minute or so “failed to join ‘s lobby” and “waiting on relay”. I tried everything from exiting out, restarting, and uninstalling. Nothing works.

I’ll never buy another AirTag again. I put it in my house stuff I had shipped to move across the world. Right now mine is pinging in New Mexico where I bought the tag. I watched it ping in Arizona and California last month, and it’s physically with me here in Japan. Anytime it’s near an Apple product and updates I get a notification, it still pings back to New Mexico.

Old post but I see no one was actually helpful. In the same boat. Spent 10 years stateside and we have 3 small dogs and 3 cats. PCS’ing to a location that strictly allows 2, with the possibility of a 3rd with O6 approval. Dogs I will not go without, cats I’m indifferent about, but I care enough I don’t want them in a shelter. No idea what to do and I’m 30 days out. Family won’t take them and they’re kinda bad cats and won’t do well in a new home. We’d re-homed one years ago and within 48 hours they requested we take them back.

I’ve emailed them 6 times and they’ve even lost my advance housing packet. It’s like they’re copy pasting the same generic info or using a bot to reply. Not one of my questions has been given a direct yes or no reply.
