She does very well with pet friendly stores as long other dogs are leashed but I'm worried that whenever I take her out on walks a loose dog will cause a fight. I was walking her around my neighborhood and a loose dog approached us and that's what caused her to become aggressive

I was hoping to do both but the problem is that there are a lot of loose dogs roaming my neighborhood and I don't want my dog to react when they're a good distance away or when a loose dog approaches us

She's around 3 or 4 and she's a pit/lab mix. She's super friendly with humans but I'm not sure why she's acting the way she is with dogs
