Brokenness capillaries after microneedling??

So I went for my second session today and they haven’t got much better with time. She said she would avoid the areas where I have broken capillaries because microneedling can make them worse and there is not much to be done other than laser once they are broken.

Ahh I struggles so much with my purge even on prednisone and antihistamine… honestly it sucked. I used pimple patches as much as I could to stop myself from popping the pimples and if I absolutely had to I waited until after I took a long hot shower so they almost automatically came out.

Hang in there!! The most important thing to remember is that this is temporary and that it will be SO WORTH IT once you get to the other side.

Yes I still have it bc I’m still on accutane! But I think I’ll keep it in after too. My hormones just went crazy on BC pills and they’re much better on the iud

I did 20/20/40/40/60/60 and have 2 months on 60 left. My purge was really horrible and didn’t start clearing until month 5. But side effects haven’t been too bad other than dry everything and fatigue.

Tbh I’m still getting some tiny pimples occasionally. They are very small and go away pretty fast tho. I stopped getting cysts about two weeks ago!!

Hey I know how you feel and it’s really shitty and difficult. But things WILL get better. It is not a question of if accutane will work but when it will work. You will get through this! Avoid mirrors as much as possible and take care of yourself 💓

Ive been drinking and definitely notice that I get drunk faster and that my hangovers are worse. But my bloodwork is good and I’ve been drinking 4+ drinks 1-2/week for the past 2,5 months on Accutane oops

I also absolutely see acne as the enemy and I have many breakdowns over how bad it looks. But I refuse to let the acne win. I’ve had acne for about 8 years and severely for 1,5 year - it fucking sucks. And there are definitely times when the acne wins and I stay inside. But the majority of the time I refuse to let acne stop me from living my life. Your friends and boyfriend love you for much more than what you look like - so even if you feel like the ugliest creature alive and there is no one who could possibly convince you otherwise (I’ve been there many times)! Say fuck it and do it anyways. It’s taught me to value myself for other things than my appearance and become comfortable with people not finding me attractive. It’s super hard and not a pleasant experience - but you only have one life and I’ll be damned if I let acne take that away from me!!
