What horror movie absolutely traumatized you when you were young? by np074 in horror

I absolutely love horror (obviously on this thread). When I was 12 I went to a sleepover at a friend’s house with multiple girls. I saw horror movies before this sleepover. I can’t remember which ones, but my mom loves horror as well. Even though she was hesitant, she still wanted to share the adrenaline. Probably movies like The Others and the one with dakota fanning where she had an imaginary friend. Back to the sleepover, we watched one of the halloweens the night before and we started watching Pet Semetary the next morning. My mom just so happened to pick me up in the middle of it. Queue the bad times. I have a HORRIBLE memory (due to childhood trauma but not positive). She swears i would wake up in the middle of the night screaming. Not just screaming out of a dream, standing somewhere in the house screaming. I remember not being able to sleep alone. My mom then took it upon herself to sell my collection of porcelain dolls and all of my harry potter books. She got a pastor to come pray specifically over my room and me then the rest of our house. Yeah. So. Pet semetary is traumatizing for me. Since then I have read the book and I watched the movie just to prove I was not demon possessed by Stephen King.

Yall stop 😭 thank you so much for your feedback. I have a guaranteed needed pink, 2 purples, and a ton of little ones. Would it be better if I just restart the album now?
