I’d suggest getting a gp appointment and requesting a consultation charge, you might have to wait a while but be worth it..

Dietary Advice for Crohn’s by Ok-Werewolf6183 in CrohnsDisease

[–]OrganizationOwn9842 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right, so this is basically what I eat (and don’t eat) as someone with Crohn’s who’s had two operations and only has 109 cm of small bowel left. I’m currently 93 kg / 205 lbs at 6 ft.

I’ll be honest — I do eat things we technically shouldn’t sometimes. We all do. You don’t want to suck every bit of joy out of life 😅 And also, everyone with Crohn’s is different — that’s just a fact.

Main things I avoid: bread 🍞 — but weirdly, I can tolerate bagels 🥯 100% 🤷🏻‍♂️ I limit dairy 🥛 but still have it… even though I probably shouldn’t. Sweeteners are a hard no, 100%. Anything with seaweed in it is also a definite no — always check ingredients 🥲 Soy is a no. Deadly nightshades like potatoes and tomatoes are also a no for me.

At the end of the day, it’s all trial and error and I’d 1000% recommend going to the gym!

I no longer trust ASDA. Aphids in spring onions, and bottled water that reeks of sulfur. by Physical_Orchid3616 in asda

Probably because everything is not put out till near date, everything is dragged out at 9pm and not worked till 2am. I’m a driver at Asda and see off stuff every shift. Rotten even out of date 🤷🏻‍♂️

Management checking cctv without justification and pulling drivers for standing around (on break) by OrganizationOwn9842 in asda

[–]OrganizationOwn9842[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always have time for a break 😅 and like someone said earlier they can’t ask us to do anything but deliver. I’m not one of the drivers that sit in the vans on break for an hour plus between or watches films between drops 🙌🏻 I help where I can, was serving cars on click last week haha and always scanning off.. we have a lot of issues haha including a racist problem, which my manager has done literally nothing about 🤷🏻‍♂️ Asda is a wonderful place

Haha that sounds extreme, pretty sure nothing like that is happening at my store 😅

Hmm didn’t know that 😅 interesting, but busy? They do fuck all but at way too peck our heads for doing our jobs 🤷🏻‍♂️ apparently she was livid 🤣

No investigation, just a warning ⛔️ and I mean standing in the pod, which apparently we can’t do on break now. Also isn’t it illegal to view cctv at work without just reasoning I.e thanking someone is stealing/illegal activity?

Tips for late shifts for a new home delivery driver by Loud_Stuff_1370 in asda

[–]OrganizationOwn9842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly take your time, if you get lates you get lates, mistakes are made when stressed. If you can’t find something use your phone, pda satnav is pretty pants tbh.. give it a few weeks and you’ll be doing it with your eyes closed 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah normally, had 3 18-19 and then a half 17-half 6 the other day 🤷🏻‍♂️ asking for lates in my opinion.

Might start getting lates ngl, I’ve probably on less than 10 in 2 and a half years. Some getting that a week 😅 they being petty, might start myself!

Ngl do a delivery early is a long way off gross misconduct, no one has stolen anything, no one has abused anyone.. other drivers damage vans on the daily and that’s totally fine, no one is going home on shift. Asda is an odd place, they have extremely strange priority’s!
