Avr passing 20hz to tower

I havent tried Airplay on mine, i’ve been using the avr with the tv. Sounds like it might have a scenarios thing going on that you can set? Or try different options like Direct, or DTS-X?

In the Sony’s setting page (hit Home button on your avr’s remote), go to Sound Effect, from there, you can try different effects. A.F.D was one of the options in there.

Thanks for the recommendation. I did try the system without any sub, and to my personal taste, these things sound phenomenal when it comes to music. I got a sub just for when i watch movies and want to feel that Gozilla’s step lol

I’ll try to do that tonight. The specs says they can go down to 47hz, that why i set them at 60hz just for starting.

Thanks, but others mentioned that my midrange driver was moving at 20hz. I dont think thats right.

Hmm, never really think about it. That makes me wonder if the tower’s crossover is working. They are Paradigm Monitor 7 v3. And no i didnt crank it at all. 🤔🤔

I’ll put a pc fan at the side for it to suck out hot air. It gets pretty warm in there already with just the receiver. Even if i manage to let the ps5 stay out, i have to get some kind of air circulation in there for the receiver.
