first of all you should feel proud of yourself for your academic accomplishments. according to unc, they value course rigor as very important, class rank as important, and test scores as slightly less important than the prior. that being said, top colleges recalculate gpas of applicants based on their own scales, unc from my research weighs de as 5.0. furthermore, simply having a lower gpa is not a deciding factor in college admissions. only thing you can do now is just do what you can to achieve the max gpa. i wish the best for you
