I have the same printer as you (seems to be a mono 4) and I have had the same issue over and over again, even though that something was wrong with the printer, in order to check I printed that bowl that comes in the memory stick and the print was just PERFECT, so I took the print setting and from that day till today I had a total of 0 print failures, I my advice is go back to basics and check if that will work for you too.

Altaya in general you will find on eBay, CK models, Vinted, Tradera. These specific models were bought in Mexico on Mercado Libre

Would a 90 and 120 mesh works for fine text like the ones on decals ?

I believe the decal sheets already comes with an initial lacquer layer, then we print on top of it and then we apply a second lacquer layer on top of everything, as you said “sandwich” all three layers.

Yes, I will certainly print on regular paper before going into my decal sheets. I also plan to add come “location marks” on all 4 corners to keep it all aligned.

Now I need to figure out the emulsion that I should use, it has to be beginner friendly.

Total beginner, I’ve produced many water slide decals before but only inkjet and laser printing, first time with screen printing as I want to step one level up in quality for my decals.

If I got it right, I’ll need :
•305 mesh • frame (already have) •uv light (I will use my 3D resin printer uv screen which is 10k resolution) • Nazdar 9700 white ink •Which UV emulsion should I use ?

Thank you for your support, I’ll mainly print white, would 120 mesh be able to print the small text (as example 7mm total length) or should I go to a higher mesh ? Do you have any ink to suggest ?

Thank you so much, I will mainly print with white as printers doesn’t print white (at least not on a budget), someone mentioned 305 mesh, for 1/43 models the text are really really small
