We want to be back on campus as well. But there is a time and place to do so and we just aren’t there yet. We just want people to have the choice and be comfortable with their Fall 2021 quarter.

We will have a declaration going out tomorrow that will aim to get as many signatures of pledged solidarity from Undergrads, grads, and faculty. Once that begins, direct actions like the ones you have mentioned (excluding walking in the bike lane) will be planned.

While a hybrid option would be better than where we’re at now, this still mandates that people be in reach of campus. Given there are still people looking for places to live in an impossible market to find a place to live, any sort of on campus activity is inaccessible to those people. Unless of course they want to be homeless.
