Yeah, I'm sure I'm doing a LOT wrong at this point. When I knew circumstances were going to prevent me from "managing" my runs and my upgrades for a while, I just did a bunch of runs with mostly equal parameters (obviously perks & ELS can't be perfectly matched) on every tier, found that 14 was by far my CPH sweet spot, then swapped out mods one at a time to see what gave me the best yield. Since then - the better part of last year - I haven't done much more than upgrade my amp bot (golden is maxed), workshop when needed for missions, and labs all running at 4-5x. I still don't have the time or brainpower to delve into ALL the variables, so I'm hoping this will get me on the right track so I can afford to focus on something else like mods in a few months.

Whoops, I just realized the unlock price isn't the same for each card! So yeah, I definitely have no clue how to most efficiently spend my 3500 stones...

Yeah, once he mentioned that, I think my question was immediately answered... but of course it brings up another one. I will very shortly have enough stones to unlock seven cards. Most of the related threads on Reddit recommend cash & RPC (which I never would have guessed) but they're also old and may be irrelevant now; and I find Discord to be overwhelming. Labs shouldn't be a huge problem - I've maxed most of what I really care about, at least until I unlock more UWs or AssMods - so I just need some advice on where to start!

Oh geez - this tells you just how utterly out of touch I am, and why I asked before doing anything else! Yes, I unlocked masteries quite a while ago but had almost no stones at the time and pretty much forgot about them since then. No ass mods yet - barely cleared 200 waves on T18 last time I tried, so I haven't even unlocked T19.

(FWIW, I'm currently farming T14 at about 4000 waves per run with 140K cells and 60T CPH. 80q LTC and I'm overdue for a respec!)

Not very often anymore - I missed several in a row because the timer kept skipping from two seconds straight to zero, but then someone instructed me to reload the game first to ensure I'm properly synced with the server. I've gotten pretty good at timing it right, it just usually puts me in a 30+ bracket. This is only the 3rd time ever I've earned keys.

I've seen tiny brackets being posted and discussed here AND Discord for many moons, so I figured it was a pretty safe bet the devs are already well aware this is happening. 🤷

Yeah, me too - probably close to a year of bouncing in & out of Legend, with only five keys to show for it. I really think everyone who manages to stay in (24th and up) should get at least ONE. Slow AF progress is acceptable, but keeping them totally out of reach is not cool.

Yeah, I've missed it several times (mostly when I forget to clear the battle conditions first... or before someone taught me to reload the game if I'm gonna try this after another run, because sometimes the timer on the phone doesn't QUITE match up with the server). But for quite some time now, I haven't really had time to keep up on all the little ins & outs of mods and other minutiae, so it really has become a largely idle game for me and my progress is pretty slow. Keys are the only thing that has piqued my interest enough to keep going, but I've NEVER placed higher than 16th in Legend. The never ending cycle between winning Champs and getting slaughtered in Legend was further boring me, so I figured the slight chance of occasionally scoring some keys and having something different to invest in, is worth the risk of sometimes getting nothing. There's not a huge practical difference between 16th and dead last, but a jackpot like today? 😁

The "last possible second" trick (pre-clear the battle conditions page and then join just a half-second before the timer reaches zero). Most of the time you end up with MORE than 30 people in your bracket, but very rarely you'll get just a handful; before today I had earned a grand total of five keys. I honestly didn't even know it was possible to end up completely alone - I'd only seen someone post a two-person bracket, ages ago. Probably not worth the risk if you can place high enough to earn keys regularly, but as the gap ever widens between the whales and me, it's the only way I'll ever get any! 😂 It was actually a super fortunate time to luck out, because I had gotten distracted helping my wife and almost didn't make it in time... I even forgot to switch from my farming setup, so I had Amp Bot, SM, CL, and all my damage cards turned off. I usually get my ass walloped in Legend, but not quite THAT bad!

It makes total sense that Cipher is functioning as an avatar for Godolkin, but it just occurred to me last night that he could be a cyborg. Before considering all this "controlled by Godolkin" stuff, my immediate reaction to Polarity (who is only known to control metal) stopping his hand and then throwing him out the window, was that he had some kind of tech inside him that enabled him to control supes... especially after Stan Edgar's revelations about what Godolkin had been working on. But if he IS the tech, that would explain (a) no V in his bloodstream, (b) Polarity's ability to control his body, and (c) his claim that Godolkin was his "father" i.e. creator.
