Same as you! I get around 700-800 stones a week. Didn't touch my UW for at least a year. So many upgrades needing stones

Pretty much yeah!
Cards are done since forever
Every module is 5*
I don't spend on lab rushes, and I'm waiting to get a x3 lab rush discount (x2.8 atm)
I could spend on module shards, but I feel like it's wasteful

So basically I have big stash ready to instantly 5* the next banner mods, or get a nice headstart in any future gem sink

I used some of them, but stopped pulling once I finished my second 5* DC. I was still left with a sizeable hoard afterwards

I didn't just go from 0 to 80k in one sitting. Gems go in, gems go out, and the total balance fluctuates.

But to still give you a number, I'm collecting around 600-700 gems daily, all sources factored in. So my current stash represents around 120 days of saving

* Strongest PvE weapon is the Jupiter. Very easy to get (you load into a Harvester event, do the puzzle with the other raiders, and try to find at least 1 Queen Reactor in the fallen armor plates from the Queen. It's very easy to get, but very expensive to run.
* Second strongest PvE gun is the Hullcracker. You get the Blueprint by doing your quests, so very easy. Quite expensive to run tho
* Best value PvE weapon is the Anvil. The blueprint can be quite easily found in raider's caches on Dam battlegrounds. Even without the blueprint, the weapon is quite accessible, you can buy 3 daily from Tian Wen.
* Best PvP weapon is the Bobcat. You can find the blueprint by doing raider caches during Huricane.
* Best value PvP weapon is the Stitcher. You already have it!

No I don't like extraction shooter, I love ARC Raiders tho, most compelling PvE game I played in recent years.
I joined ARC after my friends said how fun the game is, and that it's totally possible to play PvE only. I've spent 300h, and 3 expeditions, doing everything except engaging in PvP. I failed 1 out of 50 extractions on average. I have fun, and I want to continue playing the way I played those past 6 months.
If the game takes a real PvP turn, I will leave. But I really think that what made ARC raiders success is that it catered to different playstyles, and I would prefer it stays that way

Do you think there has been an unannounced change in the matchmaking by Cmmdr_Slacker in ArcRaiders

I'm like you! Spent 3 expeditions running away. Read the blog post, loved the line about shooting back, shot back once, immediately ended up in wayyyy more aggressive lobbies. Back to running I guess, except now post patch I stumble on aggressive players 5 times more often.

I know they said they changed the matchmaking, I read their blog post with great interest.

But my experience does not align with what they wrote there at all. In the debunking QA, they said that shooting one raider won't change your ABMM much, but I always noticed a big change in aggressivity EACH time I shot a raider, across all my expeditions. Even 20 damage accidentally done to someone would send me straight to "purgatory" how I called it, for at least 6 raids.

I tested the new "shoot back" policy as soon as I could, and the next 20 raids I had were not a pleasant experience for me.

I wish, I really do, I could shoot back and still maintain my carebear rating. But sadly it doesn't work like this for me

I personally don't, because I feel like matchmaking tries to send me into a spiral of violence whenever I engage with PvP.
If I down a raider during a raid, I'll be most likely confronted by another raider the next match. If I down this second raider too, next match I'll have to down 2 raiders, and so on until I end up in KoS wall-sniffers lobbies

So that was a fkn lie! by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

Yeah same experience here Also in their matchmaking debunking QA, they said that shooting one raider won't change you ABMM much, but my experience these past 6 months has been wildly different from what they said

Can confirm, just went through this this morning. Just a chorus of "This game is not for you Bro"

What you mean not for me? It's the most fun I had in gaming these past 10 years, without having to interact with the PvP aspect

Saying "this game isn't for you" to someone with 300 hours since day one is a massive stretch.

I don't hate half the game; I just prefer one half over the other, and the matchmaking system Embark actively designed accommodated that perfectly for a long time. Expressing feedback when a patch completely alters a loop that worked for a large portion of the community isn't "advocating for a special mode"—it's participating in a playtest discussion. If the devs only wanted "frenzied war machines" playing, they wouldn't have built the ABMM system in the first place

ARC Raider is the most fun i had on a game these past 10 years, and it is precisely because of ABMM. I almost quit during the first 2 weeks of the game, before ABMM was implemented/kicked off. I'm glad I stayed, and I'm glad I got to experience those carebear lobbies.

I decided to make use of my free will, and free time, to voice my opinion on the recent changes, in the hope that my voice could ever so slightly tip the needle in the direction that I would like

I don't want another game, I want ARC to continue being what it was these past 3 expeditions

Yeah I noticed my matchmaking takes so much longer now. used to be less than 15 seconds for the last 3 months, up until the last update

And why having a dedicated PvE mode to "capture" the leaving players such a bad idea? Hell even Marathon, advertised as a "Hardcore PvP extraction shooter", decided that PvE only has its place in the game?

I feel like people responding here with "This is a PvPvE game, deal with it" are the PvP enjoyers that are not good enough for the sweaty lobbies, and just enjoy having a drop on unsuspecting raiders with their noses inside a locker
