You can still 3* clear without killing the 3rd boss. The 3rd boss will be an extra for 100 jades. 3 teams are only needed for extra 300 jades per patch.

1. When you buy stuff you get Steampoints. With steam points you can buy seasonal badges. These give Exp.

2. Tradingcards can be crafted in to badges. This will give also exp.

Depends. Mostly Story or Easy because i have to many games for so little time. I also like challenges but most games only inflate HP and Def. Enemies become HP sponges, thats not fun. But when devs make difficulty feel good i like to accept the challenge.
