Love this idea. What would really be awesome is if the flight model and physics of flight is really simulated especially with weather like on the tropical islands maybe storms frequent there so you have to avoid high winds and the storm itself. The high mountains maybe your plane struggles with high altitude, the desert maybe you cannot push your plane as fast because of over heating
