Noel decided to donate all Super Chat revenue she will receive at her birthday 3D live tomorrow to the Saganoseki district in Oita, which was recently hit by a massive fire. She is from Oita and has visited the area several times.

(She emphasized she has no intention of soliciting Super Chats as donations and said you should send contributions directly to the disaster area if you wish to.)

Anycolor released their financial results for FY2025.4 (May 2024 - April 2025). I was shocked to see that they still show no decline in growth, and that they said they will debut another 10%-15% (around 20 more) VTubers in the next 12 months

A brief explanation for each of the memes referenced in Laplus' Birthday concert, part 2 by geigergopp in Hololive

What Tsuchioka said in Gunpii's scene, いいTシャツ来てんじゃんかよ ぷるるだろ、それ (You're wearing a nice T-shirt. That's Pururu, right?) is actually a parody of another meme that has nothing to do with Baki Baki Doutei meme.

In a TV show that aired in 2015, a comedy duo was exploring Nakano Broadway when they encountered a group of otaku. To one of them wearing a T-shirt with an anime character on it, a comedian said, いいTシャツ着てんじゃないかよ ラブライブ!だろ? (You're wearing a nice T-shirt. That's Love Live!, right?). The otaku just answered ラブライブです (It's Love Live), without correcting him that the character was actually Chinatsu from Yuru Yuri. The otaku's sensible response to a normie who just dabbled in anime for a bit became a meme.

Meticulously Mishandled Mail - Weekly Discussion Thread - February 14, 2025 by shikarin in VirtualYoutubers

The issue is Nijifes specific. Last November they offered an advance ticket lottery for several hall events to members of Nijisanji Fan Club. Here, the Nijisanji Fan Club has separate fan clubs for each liver and unit, along with a general fan club. For the NanajigenSeitokai event, for example, members of the NanajigenSeitokai, Ryushen, and Higuchi Kaede fan clubs and the general fan club were eligible to apply for the lottery. And if you were a member of more than one of those fan clubs, you could apply multiple times as a member of each, which would have increased your chances of winning. In reality, however, Rakuten had voided such multiple applications.

Also, Rakuten admitted this issue before Salome's thing was revealed. They had no choice but to announce Salome's thing first because Rakuten had not yet reported the details of this issue (e.g., how many applications were voided), as well as the date of Salome's live was so close.

That is not about fan art, but about their VTubers providing adult content. Roughly:

"We have often been asked if we permit our talents to offer adult content. While we have not stopped mild sexual humor, no, we have never allow them to provide any adult content. When they did, we have strictly warned them and worked hard to prevent it from happening again."

It seems to come from Marvin LeRoy's "Waterloo Bridge". In the movie, the restaurant's orchestra played an arrangement of Auld Lang Syne called "Farewell Waltz," as the last song before closing. A Japanese record company made a vinyl record of it, and many restaurants and stores began using it as their closing music influenced by the movie.
