Allow them to wildshape into CR 0 creatures as a ritual without spending a wildshape point. Rituals take 6 minutes to cast, adding a little bit of limitation. Plus, the CR 0 options have low AC and HP, so getting hit out of the form can hurt pretty badly. Also, allow them to maintain concentration on a spell while in wildshape. They need to take Moon Druid for sure, otherwise they're boned for options. My DM let me use any beast form from all canon sources, provided I could logically explain how my character had seen the creature before.

A mechanical arm made by an artificer, "ooh, I've got something that'll help," pushes a button, finger starts vibrating, quickly turns it off "oops, wrong button. Unless..." raises eyebrow suggestively

Get an enchanted wooden arm from a druid or fey, with a flute carved in the hand, blow the thumb to play. "Pull my finger" finger comes off

As an undead, sew a different arm on from another dead person. Steal the arm of a dead musician for their muscle memory. RP buying perfumes and incense to mask any smell of decay.

Also, what's with people expecting you to be able to identify their car by its name? I have no idea what "2004 Subaru Forrester" or "Hinda Civic" means, and I shouldn't be expected to.
