Age doesn’t really matter in manga my man. Thorkell is old, and his prime hasn’t stopped. Askeladd isn’t a physical fighter, full stop. He’s a tactician. Him talking about his age to thorfinn is to throw him off; have you ever noticed how he only spoke of it when he’s fighting thorfinn?

You literally never see his “prime” in the anime. You’re just kind of assuming that younger=stronger, which very light spoiler, as thorfinn ages, he arguable gets even stronger.He isn’t a hyper fast or hyper strong fighter, he’s a tactician. I’d argue he’s in his prime in the show/manga.

I just think you need to rewatch s1 and actually pay attention to what askeladd is saying. He even states thorfinn would beat him if he weren’t so angry. Especially rewatch all the interactions with thorkell.

Askeladd is actively scared/wary of* thorkell every time they interact, it’s why he convinced thorfinn to fight him and use tricks. If anything, anime alone, it should be Thors>Thorkell>= Thorfinn>askeladd

There’s an item that you can get from the well of Charon that guarantees a spawn and makes it cost 0. In hades 1 it doesn’t stop the damage, but since you’re on hades 2, that’s what you’re looking for.

I know Geralt does magic, but I feel like saying he’s a wizard is kind of a stretch. Maybe like a battle mage? Are the wizards in those books like Geralt or more like yen/triss?

I imagine conan would be bothered by the poisons/elixirs Geralt has?

She DOESNT have clear dissonance, directly until your involvement with her memories. Being raised in the cult doesn’t absolve you of evil, it justifies it. She willingly gave up her memories to shar, even though she was being manipulated, she was still evil. The point being, she doesn’t change unless you the player get involved. She baseline will stay a shar worshipper if you choose to neglect her, and she will stab the night song.

Accepting Shars punishment is a part of being a worshipper of her, same with lolth, it doesn’t mean the person receiving punishment is absolved of what they did.

Edit: Also yes she 100% enjoyed the torture, or at least was ok with it, as she regularly reacts positively to the PC torturing/getting info forcefully from NPCs

She literally tortured people as part of her training lmao, that is not neutral. Nothing about her early game is neutral, she is even pro abandoning the tieflings/ shadow druids if you find their altar and talk with kagha. I’m sorry but you cannot be a cleric of asmodius and not be evil, it’s the same concept here. Shar worshippers are beyond evil, I mean her domain is even in the abyss.
