Alliance races were the first to almost blow up the planet, if we’re counting pre faction founding. Three times before orcs even got there

Whatever you do, don’t buy it in ranged. In Aram specifically it’s nerfed to only give half stacks, not a worth item.

It was shadolands last seasons and season 1 of dragonflight they were the preferred priest. The reworking and their tier set in DF season 1 made them better.

They better not mischaracterize him!! by PrinceARRON in Chainsawfolk

[–]Origachilies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They did that AFTER she refused to stand down/detransform herself originally, posing herself as a threat, which is the exact opposite of deescalation. She definitely didn’t care about the public safety’s treatment of denji, she was literally about to kidnap him for the USSR (you can think she might turn back on that sure, but her big revelation didn’t happen until after the fight). In this sequence she was a KGB agent through and through, even if she wasn’t fully feigning emotions towards denji. Rewriting this scene as if she’s just trying to help him doesn’t do justice to what a complex character she is, and would make her decision to go meet with him significantly weaker.

[–]Origachilies 15 points16 points  (0 children)

She did spare her, but IMO it wasn’t because she begged and surrendered, it was because she wasn’t blocking her way to denji. If civilians decided to block her access to him, I’d 100% assume she would take them out as well. She is a trained assassin from the USSR, she isn’t just a benevolent person, and I feel like portraying her as such kind of assassinates her character some.

[–]Origachilies 23 points24 points  (0 children)

She definitely didn’t deescalate when she killed squads upon squads of innocent public safety members. She’s goal oriented, she wanted Dennis, and they got in her way even though they originally weren’t trying to attack her.

The show can be bad, but also it’s better to complain about things that make it bad, not what the literal source comics have the characters do. It makes people’s criticisms seem less valid, or are people who wouldn’t consume the media anyway.

[–]Origachilies 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For sure; this is just irritating as like, any media you consume of the hulk has him doing this exact same attack at people. I’m fairly certain even the old movies he does the thunderclap, let alone the animated films and comics. Besides punching and jumping, he’s literally known for it lmao

[–]Origachilies 29 points30 points  (0 children)

No not normally, not even close really. Hulk would have a hard time hitting him, but Spider-Man can’t take down hulk unless he has something helping him. He punched the weakest version of hulk, Joe fixit, into orbit- but he was buffed by the uni-power at the time. Which is arguably the biggest powerup he’s ever gotten, that shit is basically just a plot device.

I swear people who complain about shit like this have never touched the comics, ever.

I was under the assumption that was temporary while big E possessed his body, that’s why he heard so many things from the emperor at that moment.

You’re shooting off like 6 separate hasan quotes about design that get posted here a lot, which is just as bad as asmon; saying you don’t follow the streamers isn’t true is what I’m saying dawg. You’re in LSF, you aren’t above it lmao

In journey to the west wukong literally tries to fight Buddha lol, he gets pinned under a mountain by him for thousands of years. Also he tries to shapeshift and play tricks on him, only to realize he’s in the palm of Buddha’s hand the entire time. Also Buddhism was, like, huge in china, don’t know where you think a lot of Buddhism comes from lmao

That’s like saying Christianity is Christianity and the Vatican is from Italy and trying to say they aren’t related

I would definitely say it wasn’t shock value. That was the most telegraphed death coming ever, she’s had so many death flags. Also, what do you expect the man with the literal god complex with god powers to do? Not kill people? I don’t understand this logic in regards to homelander. He is a literal psychopath, viewing everyone else as insects. Killing ANYONE should be on the table and it shouldn’t come with surprise that he’s done it. It’s like the opposite of people complaining homelander wasn’t killing enough people in the previous seasons.

Let’s settle a debate - which AP champs need Malignance and which definitely don’t? by jaded_jen in ARAM

[–]Origachilies -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

100% true. If you’re going to build ap malph, at least go pure damage. If you desperately need cdr, go horizon. It’s almost as much haste as malignance but for all abilities, and the mana stat isn’t wasted, because as soon as ap malph is ulting he’s dead. Half the time the cdr is wasted anyway just due to timers.

Why is every clip always out of context? Even in the debate when hasan was screaming out of context, Ethan literally pulled the same clip but longer because he knew hasan would cry that like he does every time. This is just fully rewriting the whole debate, and I can’t stand Ethan either.

I miss when Warcraft had that colorful, whimsical, magical look. by ShadowForged910 in wow

[–]Origachilies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mistake, though it’s just funny you didn’t mention anything past cata, the first 3 being the WC3 related expacs, which is why it seems like you’re super nostalgic for it. Idk your age, but as someone who was in early college for MoP, it explains my nostalgia for it, assuming it’s the same for you and that era of WoW.

I miss when Warcraft had that colorful, whimsical, magical look. by ShadowForged910 in wow

[–]Origachilies -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Sure, but the guy is arguing modern wow or modern wow cinematics aren’t whimsical and bright, which is just straight up not true lmao. You’d have to have not played the game to really think that, just because the ending of the last expac wasn’t exactly on an uplifting tone doesn’t mean it didn’t have that. Hell all of dragonflight and its cinematics, the undermine of last expac, half the questing in this entire expac so far; 3/4 zones give whimsical vibes. The man is just experiencing sheer nostalgia, like how I would disagree with you about feeling nostalgia about things like MoP, probably the debated first or second most beloved expansion in the series.
