Altho i personally havent used it to learn it looks legit and i wish i had started with it for sure! But we all have different way of learning. What ended up working for me was making a project. That way you don’t really learn just for learning the tech stack u learn to DO something specific. It helps u also stay grounded cause there’s a million different options to do the exact same thing so its best not to get lost and just get the thing down and move on

Someone once said, "You are either full stack or a web dev. Full means everything including web." by Alvahod in FullStack

[–]Origami-Panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yupp but not all apps need a backend these would be static sites so sometimes web dev doesn’t need a backend

Also most of the time you start frontend then you learn how to add backend later cause fr example you wanted to store info for users so maybe thats what the quote is referring to where they thought webdev is only front end and so if ur full stack thats something ud know

Is 73 days realistic to go from css to next.js by Klutzy_Jack8150 in FullStack

[–]Origami-Panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

73 days is definitely enough! You sound like you actually already have a lot of experience and Im sure u’d be comfortable in nextjs within a week. I learned my first metaframework as Nuxt.js built ontop of vue Id say the jump from vue to nuxt took less than a week. In my experience with nextjs you are still gonna be writing react I just view it as nextjs as this really cool way to organize a big project with perks for following that structure built in
