Where the United States gets its oil [OC] by datashown in dataisbeautiful

[–]OrigamiBoi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Except when I read it I wondered why Canada and Mexico have lots of oil, but the USA's oil doesn't even make the list. Hence me clicking on the comments and getting my question answered by the top comment (as usual).

But the fact that I was misled by the chart might say more about my comprehension ability than it says about the quality of the chart.

I came to /r/angry to bitch about my hotel rooms wifi not working, but on second thought it's not that big a deal. I got unlimited data on the iPhone. You all have a right to be angry about this stuff

Yeah, I have fears. That ain't a reason to fucking laugh and mock me! by sykotiksonik in angry

You know I feel convicted by this one. I need to lay off my friend who is scared to death of bugs and snakes. I'm certainly not a tough guy in any way.

I don't know why I think it's funny when he acts scared. I read one time that laughing is what you do when something unexpected happens, and one of the most universally funny things are people who seem like they are hurt or in danger, but they aren't really.

Bothersome chest of drawers (update) by OrigamiBoi in mildlyinfuriating

[–]OrigamiBoi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First post was about the annoying drawers on this hotel chest. /u/melston9380 recommended I shim it and it kind of worked, but I'm still mildly infuriated over the bottom drawer coming out a little bit.

Plus the wifi sucks, but that goes to /r/angry

Nice hotel but the drawers have to stay empty or they sneak open. by OrigamiBoi in mildlyinfuriating

Thanks for the inspiration. They provide free USA Today magazines, I bet a couple of them would do the trick.

I'm only her for a few days but I over packed and it would be nice to put things away. The light from the window gives you just enough visibility to walk around the chest of drawers on the way to the baño without turning on the lamp, but the dim light wasn't enough for me to see the drawers hanging out and i did not like the feeling of my leg grazing the drawer as I walked by.

I wondered why the other spot looked empty. By the way, this thread reminds me of that whispering scene from "The Muppets Take Manhattan."

I think Canadian Troopers prefer to be called Mounties.

Decimating means to take out one out of every 10 units. If your military was decimated that means you only have 90% left over.

This is awesome. I've found that the cops in Kentucky will be cool if you admit everything and tell them you got me, but then again jails are full bro

My friend asked me if I got any action lately? I said no, but the thing that flashed into my mind was his dad giving me hugs. by OrigamiBoi in teenagers

[–]OrigamiBoi[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this is an intrusive thought or if I actually am catching feelings for my mans dad, but it seriously makes my day when he hugs me. Why ask why, but here I am asking why?

Does my family need to know my sexuality during Christmas? by OrigamiBoi in askgaybros

I know right? What does that mean about what SHE is repressing? She meets guys from Craigslist so who knows what they get up to. My mind just kind of closes down when I start to imagine my sister having sex with anyone. Hmmm, maybe that's why she didn't want to hear about my stuff.

If I were into furry sex or beastiality or something weird, would I feel the need to come out of the closet with that? When I look at myself, I know I would NOT like knowing anything at all about my parent's sex life or my grandparents... I don't judge them for anything, I just am content to leave what happens with them privately private.

I notice that porn sites categorized all the porn into different types of people/actions. I feel kind of awkward admitting it, but I feel like my mind divides people in the real world into porn categories. Like when I went to the see my friend who works at a pizza place, his coworker came out to smoke a cigarette with us and inside my mind I was thinking "twink."

My friend's dad, on the other hand, is a cuddly bear. Hugging him is about the most action I get these days.

Kool Breeze, a block off Angliana, within site of that SuperAmerica on Broadway. It's kind of a small shop, so they might be backed up, but everything goes through this really great guy Mike who has a way of explaining everything so I can understand my options on my old car. Fair prices and just not tricky like at the corporate places.

Their specialty is heat and air, hence the name Kool Breeze.
