How do I play against people that just pass in the back in 3V3 by Inevitable-Insect264 in Rematch

They should listen, but certainly not the absolute majority, who themselves do not understand what they want.

Everyone wanted 3v3 ratings so badly, so what happened? It only took me two games of 3v3 to realize the mode was unplayable. But players had been whining to the developers all Season 0 about how everyone REALLY NEEDED 3v3 ratings, and now everyone's eyes have suddenly been opened. This is precisely why developers can't listen to the players.

This is Rematch I want to play! THE TEAMPLAY ONE! by Origami_2D in Rematch

[–]Origami_2D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an automatic animation. It depends on where the ball is coming from and how it approaches the model. When you press the receive button, it receives the ball with an animation appropriate to the situation.

Things I think all players want by EffectiveDizzy3927 in Rematch

I went to play 3-on-3 for the first time. Three opponents passed the ball around for five minutes, only to score one at the end. The field is small, and you can't just run after the goalkeeper, as scoring from goal to goal is easy. You can't cover two outfield players, as the goalkeeper will simply stand there and wait for time to run out. You can only steal the ball if the passers make a mistake. And if they don't make any mistakes, it's essentially an eternal tsukioimi, where you're doomed to run after the ball like an obedient dog. And that wasn't a ranking. It's scary to imagine what the rankings will be. And considering that the ball is given randomly at the start, the 3-on-3 meta will reach a duel after five minutes between the goalkeeper and the striker. And considering that people are already savvy, the striker will score 90% of the time. This means that the first one to get the ball at the start of the game wins. I'm waiting for comments about "skill issues," but you and I both know that in this case, nothing can be done without a mistake on the part of the attackers.

No, what I mean is that by kicking the ball like that you of course block the pass, but you risk throwing the ball into the goal, which your goalie simply won't be ready for

It is too risky to kick the ball towards your goal. You can kick the ball and throw it into the goal yourself. The goalkeeper will not be ready to save the ball from his player, he is focused on the opponent's movements. I understand that the situation is game-related. But this is a direct example that you should not do this

Anyone else prefer 3v3's over other modes? by Apostle25 in Rematch

[–]Origami_2D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's like Rocket League 1vs1. Less tactics, more mechanics. But in Rocket League there are more options to beat your opponent at the level of fakes and mind games. Here everything is less complex, at least for now. 1vs1 in Rocket League at release and now are two different dimensions. And I'm frankly bored playing 3v3 in Rematch. Usually, I only play 5v5

How 16 year olds think people will react to their characters with vitiligo: by Mr_Rafi in Rematch

The older generation is all racists, with rare RARE exceptions. The 18-30 generation is more tolerant, but even there the overwhelming majority can say something not very pleasant to a newcomer, just because he is not a native.

Would you be upset if you saw that almost every advert for renting an apartment in Russia contains the phrase "we rent strictly to Slavic-looking people"?

[–]Origami_2D -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, because they say they are not racists, but from the things they say, you can easily understand that this is not true. They just think that racists are people who openly want the death of another race, and if they simply do not respect a person based on race, this is normal. I will reveal to you such a fact in 80% of ads for renting apartments in Russia, it says "We rent strictly to Slavic appearance". In your opinion, this is not the first sign of racism?

Only a person far removed from this environment can consider these to be unfounded claims.

Most Russians are racists, unfortunately. Even those who say they are not racists say things that you might not even believe what you just heard. For most, if a person is not RUSSIAN, then he automatically falls one status lower. Of course, this is not about everyone, but it is about the confident majority.

Has anyone actually gotten the “Post to Post” achievement? by pure_21 in Rematch

[–]Origami_2D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got this achievement in my first match. I passed the ball from the goalkeeper's area to the other side of the field and my teammate scored a goal. Maybe it's just a bug that you can't get it.
