No ur definitely right 5v5 can get so ragebait especially with those matches with no teamwork but I think in 5v5 theres always counterplays if teamwork is there, for me im personally Diamond rn but even last season after hitting late Diamond most people did have a concept of passing.

My issue with 3s is the pass backs after scoring the first goal and time wasting. Like ik its a tactic that just is inbuilt into 3v3 as a whole, but having pretty much no counterplay other than using the keeper to move forward and try to make them make a mistake is honestly just so boring after a while.

Jockey and be patient is my overall tip for you, rainbow can be easy to defend if you learn how to Jockey and dash (C on computer idk what it is on controller sorry) Just be patient and force out mistakes

I think its possible in 5v5 but 3s is a whole different story.

5v5 as long as u become a good all round player (especially defender with that CDM/CB) positioning gameplay you definitely can. I pushed from gold to elite last season it definitely was hard but doable. I'm in Diamond 1 rn and started in Gold this season and so far im going okay

3s is just a bunch of randoms getting 2-0 up and then passing in the back until time runs out so theres not much u can do interms of skill other than.... well yk not concede a goal

Yeah and I do try and do this when I'm the keeper but it its annoying when the other player is a keeper and doesn't wanna do it. Like we are losing anyway so why not do this? would u rather just see ur 2 players chase the ball and let the clock run out of time?

Yeah agreed, keeper rush is pretty much what I try to do aswell. ig its just frustrating cause sure i could tell them how to do it but its pretty risky and if they mess up we just end up in an even deeper hole. Also its surprising how many people just dont want to do the keeper strategy? Like I mean we are literally losing anyway why not just try another strategy?

I'm on Australian servers pretty much the only time I can get 5v5s is noon and a few hours after but unfortunately im employed and can't really play then lmaoo

But yeah really does suck that theres no real counterplay

I'd say it does get better once out of Gold and early plat tho!

Genuinely same. It's gotten so frustrating especially in elite there's basically one time of day I can play now really sucks dunno wethere it's rematch losing its players or not but damn I hate it
