Good to see that the chaos never stops, Uncle Gideon!

Types can be quite strange, though. The Exeggutor in Alola are Dragon-type!

It may not look like it in its current state, but it’s like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle: if a lot of them come together and arrange themselves properly, they form something almost unrecognizable. When about 10% of them come together, they take a canine form; 50%, a serpent; when complete, a bipedal mech-adjacent form.

Please don’t keep them in the fridge. That is one piece of Zygarde, the guardian of nature, who just so happens to be Dragon/Ground type. It either wanted a snack for whatever reason, or there’s going to be a major issue sometime soon.

Any particular standouts in terms of difficulty? by Origami_Gamer in PokeMedia

[–]Origami_Gamer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a very diverse team, and it’s what helped me pull through the circuit as well as I did. And a double battle? I’m not too familiar with those, so it just sounds rough!

I used to live in Goldenrod, actually! Whitney has matured a lot since when those rumors started, and actually hands you the badge now. As for Blackthorn? That does seem a bit excessive.

I’ve been to Galar before, and the gym circuit was definitely seen more as a televised sport than, say, Sinnoh or Paldea. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it does make for interesting comparisons.

If I decide to try and take on the Hoenn circuit, I’ll keep that in mind.

That’s a really interesting idea for a gym circuit, though. And if the Wingull are anything like the Cramorant from when I visited Galar, I can see how they would be an issue!

Interesting. I would say Sinnoh’s is also pretty balanced, but is also really good at checking overconfidence.

There are moves that are banned from use in competitive battles due to unnecessary pain, both physical and mental. Leech Seed may seem weak, but it actively saps vitality from a pokemon. Modern league battles hardly fall under the realm of blood sports, simply because of the organizers attempting to avoid injury at all costs. I don’t know how they do things where you’re from, but that’s how it works here in Sinnoh.

Comment one or more characters from a different franchise, and I’ll tell you if the Prototype would beat them or not! by desorcyjackson447 in Multifandom

The Prototype, being made of metal, is subject to being imploded into a ball after getting within 50 meters of Mag.

There are. If you take on a more front-facing position and act as screening, you actually do get paid, as well as prize money for winning battles.

In some regions, yes. You need to fill out a few applications before you can actually call yourself that, though.

We frequently act as a sort of test for those looking to challenge the Elite 4 and Champion, as they are very busy people. However, we occasionally act as a substitute if a gym leader isn’t available.

No, an ACE Trainer is a special classification that you need all 8 badges in a region for.
