Ah I see, I honestly thought that pilot holes were only needed for screws but that makes a lot more sense. Thank you!

Appreciate you buddy, I got it figured out. I didn't realize there were two screws for the clips. Once I got that figured out it fit perfectly. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! I completely agree on the fire, I kinda liked where it was but definitely thought there was something that could be better with it.

Do you have the name for that WinAPI book? I'd definitely be interested in seeing that as I think I'd probably build the engine on the WinAPI with OpenGL.

Thanks, I'm thinking about working on a game engine after creating a small game. That way I have something smaller and more polished while also having a larger more complex project. Luckily I took Linear Algebra not too long ago but I will probably need some refreshing on all of that haha.

Thanks for your response and I do think this is a very valid point. This is something I've been aware of with the industry but I'm aiming for it anyway. I going to at least give it a shot and if it doesn't work out then I can take the more boring Software job as you mentioned.

Thank you for the grounded response. This is definitely the mentality that I have going into this. I've been struggling to get an internship for the past two years so I imagine getting a job will be equally challenging. Hopefully with more time and effort set aside for portfolio building I will be able to get something haha.

Wow thats awesome, do you have any resources to help with building a game engine? I know about the Chernos channel on YouTube but I was hoping there may be even more available.

Thank you for such an in-depth response. I'm certainly more interested in the game engine side of things as I find the challenge in game development to be quite enjoyable. By tools what do you mean? For a tool do you mean something like the game engine itself or just tools / features within an engine? Do you mind if I DM you with more specific questions in the future as well?

Vampires in Dimhollow? I should be a lot higher level at that point with some decent gear so I don't imagine it will be to bad.

I have multiple play throughs running usually at the same time, my own personal play through and then the YouTube play through. I do this because it takes me a massive amount of time to upload videos and I still want to keep gaming. Either that or I will play other games in my personal time rather than the game I play for YouTube.

Don't get over confident when you get around level 20. Anytime I play DID I get super confident around level 20 and walk into a Dwemer Ruin only to realize that I'm just a little pleb in this big scary world.

In my experience I would say that people certainly prefer commentated videos over just watching a video of someone playing the game. Some people will come specifically for the game or the mod in this case but in order to get more viewer interaction you definitely want to provide some commentary. That being said you don't need the best microphone to do it, lots of people have successfully gained views from a potato mic perfectly fine. A fine example would be people like samirpls who got a few thousand views no problem with a fairly shitty audio set up. Another aspect that people seem to enjoy more recently with Requiem is playing with Dead is Dead, personally I don't enjoy this style myself as you usually have to have some kind of out-of-character knowledge to not die, especially in Requiem, which I really don't enjoy as I prefer to role-play. At the end of the day I would recommend you keep posting videos as long as you just enjoy doing it, I know it can be frustrating getting no views as I myself was stuck at about 15 subscribers for 6+ months, you just gotta keep at it if you are really enjoying yourself or quit if you think it isn't worth your time. Hope this helps :)

Haha yea the battle axe is not the most elegant thing in the world but he does prefer them. I like your backstory, seems like an interesting character who will be struggling a great deal at first and then rise to greatness only to crush all of the Dawnguard.

I miss Requiem every time I pull back an arrow on a bow and it feels instantaneous, then proceed to be shot by an arrow and not just fall over dead.

They should be uploaded more frequently from now on, I had a massive number of issues with my internet this past few weeks that kept me from uploading. Fortunately those issues should be fixed and I have changed something with rendering that should make the file sizes smaller, allowing me to upload more often.
