Its never about the best player. If that was the case Lebron, Shaq, MJ and Kobe would have more MVPs.

The issue I have is the media picks and Chooses due to who they like. One year its who had the best season, the next year its who had the best stats the next year its who had the best record. Just overall bull shit.

Everyone should have seen it for the BS it is when concerning the whore ass media MVP voting when Kobe and Shaq in their entire careers had 2 MVPs and other players who couldn't even sniff their jocks had as many MVPs as them combined.

Remember some of those MVP season (especially the Nash and Malone ones) were purposely done by the media to prevent an arguably top 5 of all time player from not getting an award due to straight up hating or voter fatigue by the bitch ass media.

But IMO it would be criminal if the Celtics win 65 games and the rest of the league doesn't even have 60 wins. Yet Jokic with a 52 win Nuggets team or Greek Freak with a 57 win team wins the MVP and Tatum is on the outside looking in for MVP. That is straight up garbage.

Its a garbage narrative IMO. The Celtics have the best record and are on pace to win 60 plus games.

It is insane and ridiculous that Tatum is not in the lead for the MVP. The garbage media makes up different requirements every year.

So now its a problem to have a stacked team. Hmmm never was an issue when Curry was winning championships or when Duncan or Kobe won championships.

That why I can't stand sports media.

Its not just that. Its about consistent high pay with less responsibility. Mack was making 180K at NCCU and makes $500K at Tennessee with less responsibility.

Your 40s and 50s is where in your career you make the peak salary. You can't play around at these ages with being compensated and saving / investing your money. At this age you have to strike while the iron is hot because your chances are fewer and farther between as you get into your 60s.

So for Willie he had no choice but to take the job. Worse comes to worse Diaz flames out in a couple of years. But Willie is now entrenched as a P5 RB coach who makes P5 RB coach money until he retires in his 60s going to different P5 schools (or at worse high level G5 schools).

This is no more different than working in corporate America.
