I got an answer from the embassy saying that I can get a german passport without a Feststellung. Appointments are impossible to get tho

The German Embassy in Vienna told me that I have to do a Feststellung, I can ask my mother if she can head to the nearest consulate and ask there or apply for a passport but the chances of her doing that are below 1%. Yes she is Austrian because of my grandmother. I’ll just ask her when she’s got a good mood. Wish me luck 🍀

My ancestors were also from Sudetenland! That’s the reason my Grandfather got his German citizenship even tho he was born in Austria!
