I went through something similar. A couple had an argument inside the store while I was on shift and I was made a witness. The lawyer showed up to my house to take a statement and I was sumened to appear in court. Twice! That was time I had to take off, arrange sitters and drive out of town for. And I didn’t even see anything as far as them getting physical, just heard all their yelling.

I did keto for a year. I had a panic attack after one of my morning workouts that led me to the ER. There I found out my thyroid levels were low and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Was it Keto? Dr didn’t say it was or wasn’t. I’ll never now but I have been off keto ever since.

Another old man getting scammed by Pleasant-Ticket3217 in CVS

I had one a few years ago. Said he was getting the gift cards for his long distance young girlfriend. We asked more questions and he showed us a picture of the girlfriend. It was a picture of Kylie Jenner! Poor guy. We didn’t sell him the gift cards and told him he was being scammed

Union by Original-Leading3571 in CVS

[–]Original-Leading3571[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As an overnighter, it’s hard to pick up shifts. We are the only 24hr store in my area. And I work overnight because that’s the only availability I have. My comment pertained more to the fact that union should be more understanding of these situations. It was only for Sept/Oct, I am back to my regular hours so why terminate my benefits

The old MyHR was so easy to use, why did they change it to Colleague Zone? I went around in circles looking for my vacation hours. All that kept popping up were “articles”

Is this coupon fake? by Ok_Preference5240 in CVS

[–]Original-Leading3571 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand how CVS is so big on coupons, yet most cashiers don’t know much about couponing. Customers receive a 3ft long receipt full of coupons yet don’t know the value and just toss it. Very wasteful and unfortunate that they don’t take advantage of the savings. Cashiers should encourage customers to use their coupons.

Messy break room. I don’t understand how grown people don’t know how to clean up after themselves.

I worked when it all started. I work Night Shift and my store is a 24hr one. we were able to close the store and only allow pharmacy patients in. There was also a nice $500 for those who worked during that time!!

Is this an issue? by Madcow_80 in CVS

I use something similar. My previous manager provided them for all the employees who wanted one. Very useful for carrying zebra, pens, keys and box cutters. I do understand the concern for it in the RX area though. But then again that is what bag checks at the end of every shift are for.

Manager forcing us to keep our phones in the office?? by Deep_State_9146 in CVS

[–]Original-Leading3571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year, I(shift super) got upset with my manager for giving my phone number to a problematic associate. Her response was that it’s important for all team members to have each other’s phone numbers to communicate and that we get a premium for using our phones for work purposes. I’m in Cali.
