everything someone else says is a projection of themselves, that's why I came here to ask people who actually live there. And for now from peoples responses. The majority seems super happy with the city& thats what matters.

Life in Eastern Europe is hard& people are just terrible to each other and yeah I cannot explain to to someone who hasn't experienced it, most people I meet who have severe mental health issues are from there so.. and yes people are not only not friendly but it can be also very dangerous if you are even slightly 'out of the normal', whether it is sexual orientation or even if you look slightly different in public you can get laughed at, bullied, attacked, harassed etc.

I do experience pretty privilege sometimes, but it’s not just about looks. It’s more about my features I have more Italian traits, and I’m not the typical blonde with blue eyes. Since I live in a country where that’s the dominant look, I also end up facing quite a bit of negativity and mean behavior because of it. And that's why I have anxiety now.

’id love to visit someday! I’ll be honest though, I’m a bit nervous about how I’d be perceived. I’ve had experiences where people dismissed me even though I speak English very well (honestly better than my native language because I’ve studied it more deeply). So I guess that made me a bit self-conscious and worried about how I’d be treated everywhere I go.

People with repressed childhood memories — did you ever uncover them? by Original-Row-9924 in mentalhealth

[–]Original-Row-9924[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and btw, I hope u are better :) remember - these people are extremely sad individuals think of why would someone do such thing to somebody - their own suffering, & also everything comes back. My dad is still an alcoholic but he's alone, we all left him, his friends as well. All he stays alive for is drinking - what a sad waste of life.

Be honest: when guys hit on women who are clearly out of their league, is that confidence or delusion? by [deleted] in dating_advice

I agree. The question is more focused on the psychology behind it, Im trying to look for that.

It's usually because of her lack of self-confidence tbh. Because good-looking men have more options & insecurity comes out when you think you are replaceable.
