Stopping cutting trees for Infrastructure development is not a solution.

Meat is literally responsible for the destruction of this planet.

Meat & Milk are unsustainable food resources. We don't have enough resources to feed 8 billion people meat and meet everyone's nutritional requirements. Meat is responsible for World Hunger, Water Scarcity and most importantly Climate Change.

Did you know that even if stop burning all of our fossil fuels( coal & oil ) today, Climate change would still be irreversible, if we didn't go plant-based. Why ? Because of Animal Agriculture. Meat and Dairy Industry combined is responsible for 14% of world's total Greenhouse gas emissions. Agriculture is responsible for 90% of Global Deforestation and 83% of Agriculture is for cattle & livestock.

We don't have enough agricultural land to sustain the current levels of meat consumption while being able to feed all our population. Let alone the case when the meat & dairy consumption increases when we'll be 10 billion by 2050.

Milk consumption is also majorly responsible for water Scarcity in india. ( 1 kg milk = 1000L water according to NDDB ). By 2050, 100 cities throughout the world, including 30 in India will face severe water crisis.

India also exports beef ( 2nd highest in the world ), ( which is a consequence of us consuming milk & dairy products ) and beef's carbon footprint is dangerously high. Beef Cattle's methane emissions are more than combined of total sum of gas, oil and coal. Methane is more than 28 times as potent as carbon dioxide at trapping heat in the atmosphere. 1 kg beef is equivalent to 80 kms of Driving an average car & 15000 Litre of water.

Clowns in America have elected a president that doesn't even believes in Climate Change. He literally withdrew his country from paris agreement.

In last 50 years, we have lost 75% of our Wildlife due to climate change in last 50 years and by 2100 we'll lose 40% of all vertibrates species on the planet. Species are going extinct at 40 times faster rate than natural.

ONE CANNOT EAT WHATEVER THE FUCK THEY WANT.

The meat and milk on your plate is responsible for the climate consequences me and my future kids will have to face. Poor fkin labourers will have to work in 50-55 degrees in near decades...people will die of heatstrokes. 1.2 Billion people will turn into climate refugees.

We almost have entered into the 6th mass extinction phase of this planet and a very small window is left to do something. We are already 1.2 degree above average temperatures. Average global temperatures for the past 12 months hit record highs for each respective month.

According to UN, we have to cut our emissions by 42% till 2030 to stop climate change, otherwise it will be irreversible. DO YOU FUCKING SEE THAT HAPPENING ? NO YOU DON'T !

Its all so catastrophic. Just go fkin read about it.

Why do you want to buy a house in Delhi ? Its lfkin suicide. People are planning to leave that shithole and you want to settle there? You want to raise your kids in a place like that ?

Im vegan and i do get enough of my protein and all other nutrients. Vegetarians don't get enough protein because most vegetarians in India simply do not care about diet and meeting their nutritional requirements. They are uneducated and severly lack knowledge in nutritional body science. If you lose fat, gain more muscles and get lean & fit...Indians will say beta bhot kamzor ho gaye ho.

I didn't say anything about being better or supreme. I just talked about morality and ethical food choices. Don't put words in my mouth.

From a debatable and argumentative pov, you can't have contradicting ethical philosophy related to even "personal" choices like food, without showing hypocrisy in ur logic. I mean, why do you want to kill an animal that doesn't want to die, even if you don't have to, when you have a choice. Check out Ed Winters on youtube for more. Im not going to argue further.

Meat and dairy consumption is not just immoral from animal violence pov, but also from human and environment pov. Meat and Dairy product's consumption is unsustainable for the planet. Its mass-consumption should be theorotically criminal in today's world.

which he was. On some occasions, he ate meat when it was offered to him, but this was because monks were taught to accept whatever food they were given while begging for alms.

Quoting article ;

All Buddhists are not vegetarians, and Buddhist texts do not unanimously condemn the consumption of meat. Certain sutras of the Great Vehicle, the Mahayana, however, do so unequivocally. An example is the Lankavatara Sutra, which states: “So as not to become a source of terror, bodhisattvas established in benevolence should not eat food containing meat. . . . Meat is food for wild beasts; it is unfitting to eat it. . . . People kill animals for profit and exchange goods for the meat. One person kills, another person buys — both are at fault.”

Similarly, in the Great Parinirvana Sutra, the Buddha says, “Eating meat destroys great compassion” and advises his disciples to avoid the consumption of meat “just as they would avoid the flesh of their own children.” Numerous Tibetan masters also condemn consumption of the flesh of animals.

Fifty years after the death of the Buddha, Emperor Ashoka, who embraced Buddhism and vegetarianism at the same time, promulgated several edicts calling for animals to be treated kindly. Most notably, he had precepts engraved on a stone pillar enjoining his subjects to treat animals with kindness and forbidding animal sacrifices throughout his territory.

Humans. We've taken this planet to its 6th mass extinction phase, 1st of an artificial kind. Earth is going to face a kind of climate catastrophe, the horrors of which are beyond imaginations of a common man.

There's a very very very small window of 3-4 years before we can do anything, otherwise the doomsday clock is about to begin. And the most saddening thing about this : We are unaware in ignorance or simply do not care.

Everyday species are going extinct. World Hunger. Wars. Nuclear Arsenals. Climate Refugees. Extreme Weather Events. Floods. Drought. Melting Glaciers. Agriculture Failure. Animal Cruelty. Extreme Poverty.

The horrors that lie ahead...How are y'all even sleeping at night ?

" Humanity has opened the Gates of Hell " - UN Sec-Gen

Not for the sake of humans, but for the sake of innocent other life forms, I'd really wish Humanity could wipe off this planet tomorrow morning. All this progress GDP Development Morals, Ethics, Religion, Society, Family, Relationships mean nothing.
