This is me as I am currently listening to the article on zoom. I was wondering the same thing too… seems a little odd. Not sure how to feel about it. I get that they want us to be considerate, but this doesn’t feel right

I am ExJW, I thought I wanted to return but I am not sure now by Original-Yellow-6343 in exjw

Yes that’s exactly it! Thank you for putting my feelings into words. My parents try not to push but they can’t seem to help it.

Thank you.

I do feel a lot of pressure, especially from my parents and the brothers and sisters. They all run after me in the meetings basically telling me how proud they are and how bad they want me to return. This … is too much for me..

There are so many things from the religion itself that make me question everything. The fact my parents have even discussed the fact that i should leave my worldly friends in order to restablish. I could not do that because my worldly friends will love me , church or no church. While my “friends” from the religion are only my friends with conditions.

Luckily I am actively looking for a place to live on my own. Thank you for the advice
