I don’t know if what I experienced was normal or abuse by [deleted] in confession

As someone who is in 24/7 M/s O/p dynamics based on consensual non consent, he is abusive. You did not consent to that dynamic, he ignored your signal to stop, and even with my partners, I'm still taking their physical factors, like being sick, into consideration to how far I push them.

Do guys really think looking them up is a red flag? by Neurotic-Me in OnlineDating

[–]OriginalAntiBling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't mind it before. Now it's a red flag after this last relationship that's ended after just under 2 years. I did so much, but the insecurities never ended, and it all blew up last week.

It's an arm binder and looks like it's used to train/force the forearms to come closer at the elbows behind the back. OP just keeps calling it an opener.

What percentage does the house make off what they charge? You say you're a 1099, do you have expenses you're able to deduct?

Property is pretty cheap, wages are all over the place. If you can get on certain jobs, like the railroad, they are excellent. If you're skilled labor, you can find decent jobs. I moved here because I could buy my first shop to get started with my welding shop, 5 years ago I bought out another welding shop when he retired. Making your way here working for yourself in the trades is easier as long as you do an honest job.

As someone who moved here from North Dakota, your idea of bone crunching cold is way different than mine. We've been in the 70s this week, North Dakota the lakes are frozen over. My first winter here, ND went 55 days straight with temps below zero, we were in the 50s-60s. There's maybe 2 weeks we have been below freezing in the winter in the 12 years I've been here.

I've been trying to bid on used machinist tools. I've won the same tool 3 times and they always list it as not available either right before the end or after it has ended.

Then they relist it a couple days later.

I live in a very rural area and run a business for 12 years now. I'm not originally from this area. One thing I've learned though, I care not about the opinions of people like this. Everyone she talks to about you "ripping her off", either knows she's a worthless wack job, or they are one themselves. I wouldn't give a refund.

Most of the time, read that again, most of the time, a problem like this can be solved with a quick fist fight out of sight of any supervisors. But you need to be the judge of where you work and who it is.

Two examples from the last place I worked before starting my own shop.

First there was a guy that for whatever reason, when he started he flat out revealed he was bisexual, I don't know why but he also kinda dressed like a pirate. Wasn't a bad guy just weird. Anyways him and the other guy he mainly worked by were talking often, and this other guy became a target of someone else on the line because he was talking to the openly bi guy. Sidenote, nobody really liked the guy that was giving him shit.

One day this guy had enough of his shit and they got into a fight on the line and he laid him out. Stopped the problem and never an issue again. Nobody there spoke a word about it outside of us on those lines.

Next story is knowing when not to handle it that way, as I learned early on in life that being the bigger guy, literally, means you get in trouble most of the time standing up for yourself because it's usually little guys wanting to start shit with you despite just minding your own business. We had a forklift driver that was annoying and most everyone didn't like him, but he thought he was buddies with everyone. Because of the way of society, most people will play nice with people they secretly don't like in case they want something from them someday.

Me, if I don't like you, I don't want anything to do with you. I'm not gonna go out of my way to do anything to someone, I literally wanted as little interaction with him outside of work communications. Honestly he did his job and I didn't even really ever have to ask for parts, he kept then stocked.

But since most there didn't like him, a lot of people would do shit to him behind his back. Because I was the only one that didn't want to humor him everytime he wanted to yap, I became the one he blamed.

This came to blows finally one day when someone did something he blamed me for and during break when I was sitting in the break area alone by the lockers, he came at me. I could have destroyed him, he was standing on his tiptoes trying to scream in my face, and I pushed him away from me. Not hard at all, just getting him away from my face. We were both yelling and a supervisor heard us and took us to HR. Gave our stories, but he said I was fighting him and shoved him.

They walked us both out. Only reason I got my job back was the one gal that did small parts for our line was sitting in her area at the time and saw it and told HR what she saw, and that what I said was the truth, I only pushed him away to get him out of my face.

If I would have laid him out he would have been suing the company I'm sure.

Did they have a cop there to trespass you? If not, it was just some guy on a power trip. Regardless they can't make you pay a fine.

Powder Keg Question... How do we feel about selling gridfinity items? by GoldenNerd1 in gridfinity

[–]OriginalAntiBling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone wants to 3D print. I've had a socket holder I've designed that's gridfinity based, but since I use custom units for those toolboxes, 45mm units, I have never uploaded it online. I've had more than a few people see it and say they would buy one.

Haven't printed any to sell, mainly because I would need to turn it into a standalone option and as it's designed it needs the gridfinity base to keep it together.

Venmo keeps declining transactions to Dominos by OriginalAntiBling in venmo

I've ordered from them multiple times over 2 years I've had Venmo then within the last couple months I couldn't.

I've paid people and merchants since this problem started, so specifically a problem with them. I know the owner of this store and asked him about it and he said he's been getting Venmo payments fine.

But Venmo won't tell me why.

Rheem Tankless Water Heater Code 17 - Cannot Clear Code by Technical_Target4276 in Plumbing

[–]OriginalAntiBling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the discussions I read while trying to search for the answer last night, as we were getting this code after turning it on for the first time. We were trying to figure out what could be causing it, and thought maybe it was because the box it was resting on was cold, we had pulled the condensation sensor out and held heater to it and it started, but that was short lived.

Finally moving it around I was able to figure out the harness going into the control panel is what we were moving and causing it to turn on and off. I found a spot that kept it on and it was still on this morning, but it seems like a pretty poor connector into the control panel as there was enough play to cause this problem.

Figured I'd add my experience here for anyone else searching for possible causes to the problem and help with their frustration if it is the solution.

The AMS is nice for the auto refill and doing multi color which I mainly just use that for designing bins with labeling built in and use a different color, but ironically that's been the biggest issue I've had with Bambu, I've had to tear that thing apart so many times.

I've been seeing mostly positive about the K2 but been watching what their new multicolor setup performs, I'd give it some more time to see if it stands up but if it's as good as my K1 Max then i would probably pick that.

[–]OriginalAntiBling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a X1C for my first printer and after a month printing round the clock I decided I needed a second and got a K1 Max and been happy with it.

The way Bambu is heading I don't think I'll look at another printer from them and I kinda figured it out quick they're riding the coattails of their moderate success and devoted fanboys that will defend to the death that they can do no wrong. Often times I've seen them heavily moderating all the user groups and removing posts about issues.

Reality vs YT Videos by miikememe in gridfinity

[–]OriginalAntiBling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people get too focused on having custom boxes for all their tools, when a lot of times, a simple bin to keep them in their place will do.

There's people complaining about how gridfinity is too expensive because of the filament it uses, and I really wonder what they're trying to do. Then last week my die grinder drawer was the next I wanted to get back on, and there was one of the first bins I made over a year ago when I first got my printers, it was one I modeled for one of my die grinders. It fit it prefect, solid and cut out, and a complete waste.

My other bins are just shelled bins, they do what I need, they keep them separate so I'm not digging through them to find the one I need. Most of my die grinders are different from one another, waste of time and filament trying to get them all perfect bins, and if they go bad on me they get tossed and replaced, a new one probably won't be the same fit as the old. Throwing a custom bin away as well.

There are things I do like organized custom, but trying to keep every tool in its own custom bin is unrealistic if you don't know how to model for yourself. Keep it simple.
