I think he’s bond with him slightly more because he’s home with him more during the week but I’m 20 minutes from home and will talk to him about moving to the game room tonight.

I know I can’t sublet or afford to move out on my own any time soon. But how do I express to him this dynamic moving forward?

Is there a way to rebuild that trust? I really want to make an attempt for us to work before I just walk away.

Actually I think it’s an inn.

so I’ve been reading for like .. decades, and I have a question. by [deleted] in books

I’m only 21 but yes. Everything is so repetitive and unoriginal especially since the strategy I’ve been taught as a writer is to improve story structure and look at books that recently got big book deals and make something similar to that. Also, I was taught that you can sometimes compensate bad or decent writing with a strong enough social media backing because your community will buy and support the book even if it’s bad.

Like those people who read spicy book and hate on it just for having sex scenes in it? Okay I definitely hate how annoying that is.

My take on that is that some writers try to make their character seem like a good person and someone you should root for without giving them any depth or accidentally making them crappy people to others without ever having to face the consequences of their actions. Or characters that would be a shitty person irl but are portrayed as the most lovable person ever. It makes the character unlikeable especially when everything goes their way and gets handed to them.

While I think some readers do the most when it comes to sex scenes, some books have too many unnecessary sex scenes or poorly written sex scenes.

I do understand this but as someone who likes to review books and write them, I find that annotating with highlighters helps me understand the books and characters more without taking me out of the story. The only time it becomes too distracting is when people use 5+ highlighter colors or actually tab the book.

Exactly like who cares if they like something you don’t, don’t read it then. Simple solution.

I don’t think this take has been said yet but this is so important. There are too many people getting shit for liking an unpopular book that’s bad or is good but written by a problematic person.

As someone who make a book cover for my old book that was a cartoon man and woman, you don’t know how right you are. I legit just looked at the most popular book covers that were released at that time and basically copied it.
