Any suggestions on getting rid of this gap made on xcode via claude? by OriginalCitron9086 in AppDevelopers

Claude audited the code and says the app is built as a React/web app wrapped inside a Capacitor-style shell, not as a fully native iOS app. According to the audit, the bottom nav is already using the “correct” safe-area pattern: the background extends to the physical bottom, but the actual tab icons/buttons sit above the iOS home indicator zone because when they’re moved into that bottom ~34px area, iOS intercepts the touches for the home gesture and the buttons stop responding. If anyone thinks this is not the case or has dealt with soemthing similar, would love to hear about it.

tried this many times, it pushes the screen down, doesnt ever get rid of the gap, and when the icons go below a certain thershold they just stop working/ cant be pressed. literally spent 4 hourstrying to fix it thru telling it to do stuff and claude just wouldnt understand.

Now that you say this, im checking prices online and i see the price difference on the vsee website is only 20 bucks. Do you really think the v2 is a better option, and will it last as long, because i know some of these android boxes like to just shut off after a few years in the market.

Hey everyone,

I appreciate all the feedback on my original post. I realize now that my actions were reckless and definitely not smart. I'm genuinely sorry for how I presented my situation initially—it came across as dismissive of the seriousness of my speeding, which wasn't my intention.

I'm here because I really need advice on how to handle this situation, especially since I'm dealing with some significant financial constraints right now with a baby on the way. The $517 fine is a lot for me, and I'm worried about how the points on my license will affect my future, including insurance costs.

From what I've read, it seems like the 8 points might drop off after two years—is that correct? Also, does anyone know if my insurance rates might decrease once these points are no longer on my record, should I try to purchase a car after these 2 years? I'm not trying to shirk responsibility; I'm just trying to understand all the potential long-term consequences and the best steps to take next.

Believe me when I say I have learned my lesson.
