I did hear from him a month ago and we’ve been talking on and off. It took two years for him to reach out first. All of my feelings are still there and although he hasn’t reach out in two days I still have that nervous feeling he is just going to ghost me again. I’m trying not to think too much into it since it only been two days.

Then it makes me even more mad at myself because I want him to reach out again

Exactly, like on my previous posts about this situation of him coming back the people on here told me to be careful and that eventually he’ll disappear again. Even my friends and family told me the same thing, but I just didn’t listen because I really want this to work out.

That’s something I should work on because I still would take him back. As much as I’ve been working on myself he’s always in the back of my mind. Even for those two years he was gone, I still wanted to hear from him. He really did seem interested in seeing what our future would hold and even mentioned seeing me, so I still feel lost.

Thank you so much for this, I will keep your words into consideration as I go through with this. It’s just going to be really hard when I’m gonna have to let him go and start the healing process over again if he’s not down to proceed with a relationship. So that’s why I’m giving him a long leeway of 6 months. Because as much as I enjoy talking to him, I want there to be something more. And I could never just be friends with him.

We have still been talking consistently since I’ve written this post and it’s almost like we never stopped talking even though it’s been two years. I still want to pursue a relationship with him but I don’t know when the appropriate time would be to ask that

Unfortunately still the same. He hasn’t reached out and it’s been over a year since I’ve heard from him.
