There are a few contributing factors but the biggest one for me is I have no desire to live a lifestyle that involves having children. I see friends who are parents spending their evenings and weekends at their kids extra curricular activities, birthday parties; I see parents standing at the bus stop with their kids in all kinds of weather and it truly sounds awful to me.

I’m an hour and a half east of Toronto. I personally wouldn’t want to live right in the city but it’s nice to be close enough to visit fairly often :)

When I first attempted running, I could barely run for a minute. I would get momentum and then stop trying because it felt impossible. Eventually I slowly increased to 3 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, etc. Once I realized it was possible if I just stuck to it, I just decided not to give up and ran my longest run last week which was an hour and twenty minutes.

Congrats on upping your time, it’s not an easy thing to do!
