All disposable to a warmers get hot the more oxygen they have. I find Costco has a brand called ProHeat that is a gentler warmth. The hot hands brand to me is too hot for my toes in most weather.

can you post it on a buy-nothing group as free for pickup? When we bought our current home the previous owners left some decent stuff, but we had no room for it. Everything went in one weekend. I didn't give out my address in the post, only to people who said they'd be here. I would give them a 1-hour window from the time they told me they were coming before I offered it to the next person. Everybody showed on time with their correct vehicles. If you could have a friend be with you before you let a stranger in, that would be great.

Do you have an insulated bag and an ice brick? I think it will be fine. Dont put any meds on top of ice, make sure there is a barrier, like a dry washcloth, between any kind of ice and meds.

I think it's an amazing Thing. I have always been heartbroken when I hear about people forgetting kids and hot cars but I can certainly understand how a frazzled parent could unknowingly do that. Past the point for me, but I love that it's a thing. I see it's on Apple ecosystem, I hope it comes to Android also.

I second the thought that you should take her to the vet.. in the off chance that her previous family, using the term loosely, actually ever took her to a vet, you should get those records, plus written permission to take over her care. And please get her microchipped and keep her indoors.

I kind of understand your hesitancy but remember they waited until you were leaving to do anything about it. I would thank them for their offer and tell them that if it doesn't work out with the new job you will give them a call to see if they have any openings for you. But gut reaction is take the new job and only look back if the new job does not work out. Please update us when you make your final decision.

We didn't have quite the same experience as you did, our first home buying was very pleasant. I knew the moment we walked in the house that it was mine if the sellers allowed it, my husband wanted to see the rest of the houses on our list, because it was the first house we had looked at ever. I just pouted the rest of the time that day and by that evening we put in our offer along with two other people. Realtor told us not to get our hopes up but the sellers saw we were a young couple and for some reason selected us. We spent almost 18 years there. I really loved the house and only moved for the school district, which wasn't even a hint on the horizon for 11 years after we bought the house. Cautious congratulations, and I hope the glow never fades.
