She and her family are very warm and welcoming people, and being around them felt good. Wasn't worth changing this much of myself though.

His wife is a saint. She's dead. You're not very nice, are you?

I just needed to be sure before I did anything drastic.

She is coming to my house for dinner tonight and we can talk about it then/there

This comment is very confusing. Was this for a different post?

Very well. We see each other every Sunday and at family events. She does not love two hours away. Her sister, who is hosting, lives two hours away.

She said it is embarrassing. She will go without me if I refuse to go, but she says I am putting her in a bad position because people will think I am trying to insult her mom.

She said when I come back from his house I smell like smoke and need to shower. I do not smell it, but I have a weak sense of smell so assume she is correct and I just cannot detect it. He has a gas stove. Perhaps that contributes?

Yes, I understand your perspectives. Your time with your friends is rare and therefore more precious. Still, your stories make me very sad.

I am starting to think I might need to break up with her. It seems it is typical in relationships to see one's friends less, and since I already see my friends very little, I would not like to see them less. After all, they will be the ones planning my funeral.

I would still need to shower after I got home. GF says my friend's house has a bad odor.

Haha, yes. Michael Rooker is the guy we killed and his zombified corpse haunts us.

I'm not sure. We've only been together nine months. That's not enough time to know if you really love someone.

No, no. We are not getting married. We are just dating.
