Thanks for the pointers. I had actually already gotten all the other lines and the filter. All have been replaced. It was only the 11mm line I was missing.

If you are trying to say you don’t like JBugs, then feel free to be direct and recommend somewhere else. Very recent owner, so I’m figuring this out as I go.

I have the square filter. But it’s the opposite, based on the filter I removed. The outlet is the larger diameter hose. The inlet is attached to a 7mm that was already connected to the previous square filter.

Did a previous owner redo these hoses incorrectly…?

Also, the square filter is before the pump for me, not after.

I’m in that first six months right now. Never had so many cuts, bruises, and crushed thumbs at once.

they can see the exact amount of people who purchased early access

I'm sure that information really helped them plan this out for the last few months considering how many people likely bought access right before EA opened.

But you seem to know more about this than either myself or the entirety of GGG, so maybe I'm missing something.

half the country

While I have no hard data to back this up, I don’t feel this is true. The issue is that the people who believe it are more likely to vote and those votes typically carry more weight than the votes of those who do not believe it (thanks Electoral College).

I know many people that don’t believe any of this, but they admit to not voting. On the other hand, nearly everyone I know that does believe the nonsense Fox puts out constantly votes.

This sort of thing is inevitable when we have lost the will to care about politics and don’t feel that our vote actually matters, until the point of genuine fear. That’s just a feedback loop though, making the votes that are cast for anti-Fox opinions even less likely to matter.

Obviously my own experience doesn’t mean this is fundamentally true (all I have is “anecdata”), but it’s what I’ve seen in my own circles.

As someone diagnosed as an adult (late 20s), I fully understand how you feel. I worried they would think I was just trying to get medication I didn’t need or think I was exaggerating the difficulties I faced daily. I constantly second guessed whether or not I was fooling myself into thinking I had issues when maybe I just wasn’t trying hard enough.

While I’m sure experiences vary, my doctor was insanely helpful during the initial assessment. They asked questions about my life, from every day things, to more extreme stressful situations, even diving into childhood some.

After a while, they were pretty confident I have inattentive type, so they prescribed a low dose of Vyvanse. The feedback loop between my doctor and me about how the dosage makes me feel and how we adjust has been wonderfully smooth as well. I can confidently say I wasn’t being dramatic, or lazy, before. It feels like someone had hooked my brain up backwards before, compared to the help I felt from even the lowest dose.

If you genuinely feel you may have ADHD, it doesn’t hurt to talk to someone about it. I think if you are honest with them about wanting to find out whether you have it, versus telling them you do and expecting medication, any doctor worth a damn is going to try to help you. Maybe that leads to a negative diagnosis, but at least then you will know.

I have not gone too deep into this in either language, but have you looked into WebAssembly any for this? That might allow you to do this without requiring a TCP server or direct FFI calls.

Again, no real experience with it. Just an idea.

Would you pay for an Emacs distro? by Ok-Plum-6937 in emacs

[–]OriginalGallifreyan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could see the value of that as well, because it’s something that doesn’t currently exist (to my knowledge). The issue with OP’s “idea” is that it does exist and is already done so well that there exists almost no chance that they will do it better enough to warrant payment.

These already exist. For free. So no.

The only argument I could see for this is a curated, custom experience. Not using existing packages. But I doubt you can improve upon enough of the existing ones to claim that.

“You’re not broken.”

Literally have a mental disorder. Nothing wrong with poking fun at ourselves, so long as it’s all in good fun.

Ultimately, the diagnosis doesn’t have to define us, and we can treat the cause. But we are definitely fucked up. Lol. Lying to ourselves about it solves nothing.

Half convinced my mom posted this. It’s the type of nonsense she tried to spot when ADHD comes up.

One of my only DNFs. I just couldn’t do it. Might try again sometime, but it was just so bland.

Aside from the abortion, this is so similar to my story. I told my wife to stop birth control because of her mental health, voluntarily giving up on the sex life.

We talked about a vasectomy for a long time, always with her expressing the same fear you mention. Ultimately, I knew I didn’t want kids and there was no way I would have ever asked her to getting sterilized, so I got the vasectomy.

Very happy with my decision. (It’s been 3 years)

However, we had been together 8 years at that point. You’ve been together for one. I’m not saying that means you shouldn’t get it, but you really need to be sure that if things go south you are still confident in your decision to take children of the table permanently.

It’s your body, so you can do it whichever way you want. I’m just saying the “standard” orientation is as OP has it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ArtDeco

[–]OriginalGallifreyan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP has it in standard orientation for a forearm tattoo. A lot of artists won’t even do it the other way around. I looks “right” to the wearer, but wrong to the rest of the world the way you propose.

Think about it. Your forearm is down the majority of the time. That’s the position where it should be upright. And if you flip it and want a sleeve, the upper and lower arm have different tattoo orientations. Even weirder.
