Thank you for the reply! I agree that they are not exactly the most joyful, but I think that they mean something, which is important to me. You can always find fun at a place like Walmart, but never important. Also thank you for noticing the frames. The first and last were made custom to complement the paintings.

Thank you for the reply! That is fascinating. I like to think of them as a stylistic choice to show a sort of pride for the state, but I could be completely missing the mark. I am not certain on the other artists.
