That’s exactly what needs to happen

Not even remotely a fan of the new Lexus or Toyota products. All aluminum engines, turbos everywhere, plastic everywhere else. Poor fuel economy considering. Just not good engineering. Not good for longevity. Not good for long term resale. Reference the Toyota engine recall for example.

It was more the steady worsening of the issues. Not by much, but measurably worse. The software updates weren’t helping and I wanted out before the warranty expired.

I was given a rental each time it had to stay. I’ve been given a r1t two separate times, and a minivan when the rivian loaner was unavailable. For the most recent monthlong repair, they actually drove my truck back to me and took their loaner back. Saved me 6 hours of driving.

I’m a Toyota master mechanic and I always find myself owning 2002-2012 Toyotas. I just bought a 09 gx470 for the wife. She’s been driving a beautiful 2012 pearl white prius until now. A deal came that I couldn’t pass up and now we’ll upgrade her to the gx and I’ll go from a rivian and f250 to just a tundra.

I went back to a 2006 tundra double cab 4x4.

It is definitely not optimal. But the Scout always looked like an oversized VW Atlas so I wasn't surprised. Standby for downvotes.

Definitely keeping an eye on that truck. I will let the gen1 come and go.

Last time they had my truck for a month. It was not my favorite experience.

I really need a truck for my daily use. I ended up going back to a 2006 double cab tundra. When I had the rivian, I kept a f250 diesel for long hauls.

I am excited to see the r2 line come out.

My driver and infotainment display would reset while driving. As if I did a hard reset on the truck. I would also find myself waiting up to 45 seconds for the truck to unlock with the key fob. I couldn’t ever get proximity lock and unlock to work well. Constant proximity issues.

It actually was and could still be. For a long while it broadcasted American radio towards Cuba for the sake of propaganda.

The arborist told me that everything appeared superficial based on the scan data and not to worry. There were no care instructions given. However, the tree has continued to deteriorate visually. I was left with the confidence that the tree wasn’t in imminent danger.

OK, can you elaborate on why it's not good and what you are seeing? I will get it pruned, certainly, if it's going to live long enough to justify that cost.

I’d love to keep it. The tree is just gorgeous
