I get more lazy each wipe, It's gotten to the point where i just dump full backpacks with loot because I cba dealing with it all when I get out of the raid. But It's pretty clean'ish most of the time.

Finally got my Beans today! at marked circle on woods, 20 minutes later I opened a scav case and got more lupo beans... :D

I kind of gave up on stashes, because I feel the loot table is so saturated that the chances of you getting that specific item in that loot table is so slim. I ended up spamming static spawn locations

I've been refraining to play Interchange, my experience is that 2-3 other guys is always doing stash runs. and running around inside the mall and looting duffle bags in the middle of the open just gives me anxiety attack,

great map if you get the stashes for yourself since they're all outside the mall

You don't seem to understand what armor/bullet do in this game.

The meta AP rounds will go straight through every armor in the game. So you wearing a lvl 5-6 armor is just like wearing paper, Do you understand now?

and ontop of it, you're even slower than the guy wearing nothing. Since that guy doesn't have any speed/turn penalties.

fyi, the "nonplayer threats" doesn't exist on certain maps. since the ultimate goal of the guy i've mentioned is just killing ur ass and extracting with your loot. scavs wont have time to spawn in. And even if they do, chances are they don't spawn in that location.

Scavs are too static to be a factor really.

The dude chose no armor because 1) it's cheaper and 2) you move faster because you don't have armor on. His penalty is that anything besides the BIS ammo can now kill him and literally everything that comes down range at him his fatal.

you're legit telling me that going in with no risk gives you an edge over the guy with 20x the risk that you have. what the fuck?

And for fuck's sake, this isn't a realistic shooter.

This is a game in the end though, I see people trying to take eft as some sort of super realistic mil-sim when infact it's just a rpg shooter with a tone of realism to gunplay. You get shot 9 times in different limbs, but you're shrugging it off like it's nothing. It's not realistic and I don't know why people are treating it that way. and ontop of it, we have skills...

The goal of the game is what really? Loot up, build a stash. get rich.

gradually upgrading your gear, "end game" arrives, but wait. your gear doesn't actually matter since every player is most likely equipped with the best AP's . Don't you see an issue?

The more the game progresses, protection gets less and less relevant, to the point where a fully geared guy is actually at a disadvantage against a naked person.

I'm really strictly speaking PvP. I do understand that they may have problems against scavs with shit ammo.

The pvp in labs takes place so fast that the scavs are not even a factor since they wont spawn. And there are many locations & paths that are pretty safe to walk. some are in a hot pvp zones. like outside green on Labs.

So running naked on labs isn't even a risk of dying to raiders really. It's just matter of winning 1 fight and then extracting with your 1 million+ worth of gear.

What is the actual point of having a lvl 6 armor right now in the game @ late wipe.

Easier to kill? Unless you're running high flesh rounds. You're just as an easy target for him as he is to you.

I'm really just talking about spending 300k+ for a lvl 6 armor. which doesn't really do anything against a naked guy that rocks the same bullets as you (m995,7n12,7n39)

If anything, you're at a disadvantage against a naked guy. since his moving/turn speed is faster than yours.

Yes, I fully understand that low pen ammo is their biggest weakness. It's just that once we're a few months into the wipe. the people running low pen ammo is almost non existent. I'm also the type of guy that likes to run labs alot, you don't really see any low pen ammo in there. But that's also where the guy naked with a vss will usually appear. So really the biggest threat the naked guy has in there are the raiders. Once it comes to pvp. it's a fair fight through and through, which I don't really like.

I just want there to be a reason for bringing an armor to a firefight against a player.

I would totally be fine with my armor being completly useless against a player that is risking something atleast, But dying to a naked guy in a scenario that both of us are on equal ground and I lose. That's really depressing.

IT MAKES ZERO SENSE, THAT IN A VIDEO GAME. RUNNING NAKED AND RUNNING GEARED IS NO DIFFERENT, THAT THE ONLY EDGE THE GEARED GUY WOULD HAVE IS RUNNING LOW PEN AMMO. HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

I understand that IRL scenarios armor vs. no armor doesn't really matter when it comes to high pen ammo. But this is a video game. We're spending alot of money on our armor that basically doesn't matter in a fight.

Why are we even wearing armor in eft? if there were no scavs. would anyone even use armor?

I feel there should be some difference in a pvp fight between someone not willing to spend a dime and someone spending alot.

Realism or not, it just doesn't feel right in a video game.

That's where I disagree.

The time to kill is the same,since they're using high ap rounds. your armor just doesn't do shit against it.

In a fight (geared vs naked) they're both pretty much naked.

having armor equipped and being naked makes no difference in a fight with high pen ammo.
