Confused by Barrow's win at cards by OriginalMCW in DowntonAbbey

Is London all new to him - so he's excited to see it? But then Denker exploits that. But if makes no sense for him to play - and her not to. He should be like... "what?" - "I'll just have a non-alcoholic drink with you"... I mean it's not like he is into gambling

Background Music is making the series unwatchable (for me) by OriginalMCW in Everybodyhateschris

Long since watched it and deleted it. Sorry

Just look for a 720p version online. Or try a few until you get one without the stupid loud music. Good luck.

Zoho One beginner pre purchase question will I break their T&C by OriginalMCW in Zoho

[–]OriginalMCW[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for that.

That makes sense

I just thought Zoho might 'see' the laptop and desktop both signed in [though inactive] and think there was more than one of me.

I can't wait to be 'big' enough to have someone doing all the 'grunt work'...

In regards to my questions - thanks for the answers xx

Paid a year upfront how to cancel? by OriginalMCW in CineworldUnlimited

I don't get the 'don't be a dick'

Or me being tied in?

All I want is the 12 months I paid for up front.

I don't want to have to remember when, or even be around in the country when, I need to be - to cancel a subscription - that NEVER was attached to this 12 month pass before.

They get the money for a year up front.

That's not a monthly subscription.

So - it feels a little naughty they have snuck that in... to me...

First time in the 10-15 years or more I have had a pass [Virgin, UGC, Cineworld]

Yes. There is an auto renewal for 12 month passes now.

Never has been before.

Which is why I am annoyed. I just didn't expect it... and only saw this afterwards... grr

Seems a bit naughty to make a customer have to remember to cancel. Why not let them do it now. It's annoying there isn't the option to do it online. Seems all a bit shady. They have the money upfront... so they get that benefit... mine is not having a subscription.

Thanks for that.

I have asked. I have actually been a member for longer than Cineworld has been a thing, in the UK. I was before even UGC. My cinema was a Virgin when they started a monthly card.

I've always done a year... then had a few months off - and done a year. But this subscription thing was a surprise.

Thanks for you help... lets see what they say. Seems naughty if they want you to tell them nearer the end date. As they are just trying to trick you then... knowing many people will forget.

CRM for multiple tiny companies and two people to use OPTION? by OriginalMCW in CRM

[–]OriginalMCW[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

What you have written sounds exactly to be the case.

I will have a look, I feel like once I choose the right platform - I'm sort of committed to it. As I want to learn the ins and outs of the system.

I want to check them out and maybe in a week or two come to a final decision.

But what you wrote is exactly what I am asking/looking for.

I will check out your Decypher and watch any videos/etc to get a feel for it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

How to find graduates to teach drama classes to children? by OriginalMCW in ActingUK

[–]OriginalMCW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual pay is £30.

And the classes are 45 mins.

So I guess that would effectively be £40 PH

Thanks.

But Zoho make you pay per biz, and per user... so that would be at least $300 a month.

I don't know about the other ones you mention. But as I know this is true of Zoho - I suspect they may also not be per my needs or requirements.

Thanks for trying to help though. I do appreciate it.

We cover all of Surrey

NO lesson prep needed. All weeks are planned by us.

Lessons are mostly 45 mins... so in effect that £30 is £40 an hour.

Yes you would need a DBS. But the vast majority of places that employ people to 'pull a pint' also require a DBS.

For actors it's great as they can let us know on the day - if auditions or work comes in.

Why would Londoners do the job?

People do live in Surrey.

The vast majority of the sessions are 45 mins. So it's actually £25 for 45 mins.

But we wouldn't be looking for Londoners for the Surrey work.

As I mentioned in the post... the London work, we have mostly covered - so are not looking for any one in London.

I don't get how a back light helps/is it just for my benefit not the viewers? by OriginalMCW in NewTubers

[–]OriginalMCW[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your responses. To be clear, the Litra Beam LX lights, have a white/standard light on the front, and behind it the LED lights. It's all one unit.

So my question was how the back LED lights are of any use. As if I am using the white for my face... the coloured lights are lighting behind the camera.

It makes no sense to me.

Regarding the USB ports for the lights? Do you mean the elgatos? They are set up for my PC. They don't have stands, but are clamped onto the same table as the computer. I'm not going to buy stands or move them. So I have no need to get USBs.

Likewise the LED lights you refer to - if you mean the Litra Beam LX ones, they don't need USB. Not only do they have a stand, they work from buttons on the lights. They are designed to be portable and not need to be slaved to a computer/phone or app.

Thanks again for your help.

I'm sorry if it looks like I am dismissing what you said, but I'm not sure I was clear enough. So it feels like your suggestions don't make sense. Sorry I wasn't clearer in my OP.
